Dogwood Trace Golf Course

Very nice from tee to green. Everything was awesome. Recommend this to anyone who wants to play. Worth the money for sure.

Played this course while visiting my brother in Richmond. Never sure what you may find when in an unfamiliar area. Let me tell you, for the GolfNow price, this course ranks way up there. I have played worse for way more money!
Right up front, you won't be impressed by the clubhouse & I don't believe much food is available. That's it for the bad. The course conditions were superb. Lush grass, fairways, tees, & greens were some of the best. Hole variety was good & a preset good challenge. For the money, this is a must play.

I really enjoyed playing this course. The conditions are excellent and the pace of play terrific. If in the Petersburg area, I would highly recommend this course. The course presents quite the challenge, especially playing from the gold tees. Long par 4's and par 3's will serve to test even the best golfers.

Over all the course was great, a few slow player made us have to wait at alot of the holes, but other than that the course was nice.

Dogwood Trace is in great condition. The bunkers were well maintained-fluffy, white sand and groomed impressively. The fairways and tee boxes were in good condition.

One of the better quality municipal courses I have played. Good to excellent condition, variety of challenging holes, and was paired with three great guys!

Have just reserve a tee time to go back on July 5th!

It's 45 miles but worth the drive.

Haviong played this course way back when it was Lee Park, I can only say how pleased I am with the transformation. The course is moderately challenging, and in good to very good shape. Our pace of play was enhanced when the starter put us off on Hole 10, as there was a 2 tee time back up on #1. The only disappointment was the lack of a hot dog at the turn. We turned around 12:30 and all the dogs were gone. I would recommend this course to anyone.and play here often.

The course is in great shape, green where perfect but Kind of expensive for a muni.

This is the best daily fee course I have played this year. The Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens are beautifully maintained. A treat to play, particularly at very reasonable rates. If you want great golf, friendly people, and a good price, this is the place to play. If you want amenities (club house, locker rooms, grill room, etc.) you won't find them here.

1st time playing here. Loved it! Played well. Beautiful 80 degree day and sunny. Course conditions were great! Great tee boxes, even for the ladies. Greens rolled well. Fairways were good, rough not very difficult compared to other courses. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

It's not Hollywood, but from a Public Golf Course perspective it was every bit as glitzy. The greens were the stars of the runway and the fairways were awesome as well. First time playing, but looking forward to the sequel. It's worth the price of admission.

Nice course....lazy Saturday afternoon for $38.50...12:36 tee time....can't beat that. My only suggestion for improvement is more yardage markers.....love it when courses have an indication for 50/100/150 yards out. Once in a while, I saw a 150 marker on a hole, but other than that, it was frustrating.

First time playing this course, nicely kept up. Much better then some that are much more expensive. Not the most challenging but we'll worth the time and money

Good course. Be more up date with golf now . love the updated cart paths . Need improvements on drinking water.I don't understand, why more courses are not more lady friendly . My wife loves to play along with me but, courses make to long for them to play .i think if they would make easier for them . Women would have more fun , and would come out to play more often

as a first time visitor to this course I intend to return soon. The golf course was very player friendly and a good time was enjoyed by me and my group.

Great course and rates are getting lower I'm not sure why, but all in all great course one of the best around.

Though the back 9 is a little utilitarian, the front 9 is awesome. The 9th reminds me a lot of the 18th at Sawgrass. The practice green is kind of a lame, and the high school is an eye sore, but the conditions of the course make it more than worth it. I definitely see a membership in the future. Fun and challenging.

I would recommend this course to anyone, It was in mint condition!
