Dogwood Trace Golf Course

I like this course because of the large greens that are kept in great condition. The course is pretty wide open, but there are hazards that make it challenging and fair.

This course was well maintained. Very nice putting green and chipping area. The driving range was in very good shape, but made you fell that you could hit a vehicle traveling down the road. As you would expect for a nice course, there was a lot of time waiting to Tee Off and the second slot. But overall a very nice course and recommend playing.

A really great time. Nicely laid out for a city course. City of Petersburg just took it over and making it a Municiple Course. Well worth the money. The greens keeper has been doing an excellent job (Fairways and Greens). It is worth a 60 minute drive to play this course. Or did like our group did and stop on the way down to Myrtle Beach, it was about 5 minutes off I-95 in Petersburg Va.. It was better than two of the three courses we played in Myrtle Beach. The $50 to $75 courses that is. Definetly going to play again real soon.

Played this course a few times. Have played from the white tees, blue tees and gold tees.. From the white, the course is short with drivable par 4's and short par 3's. From the blue, it is average length with 165-200 yard par 3's. From the gold, it is very challenging with 200 plus par 3's.

The fairways were cut perfectly. Sandtraps were in great condition with a nice sand base. Greens were great. A little fast for my modest abilities but very readable with practice. Pristine overall conditions and very challenging. Third and fourth tee boxes were back further than expected even for the course members that I played the round with. All and all a great course and great round. A little pricy for area without the golfnow price I wouldn't be able to go too often. I pay less at myrtle beach

The course was in great shape and excellent for a public track. It was my first time playing and I went around in great time with three others. No waiting. Will definitely play again.

One of the best city owned courses around also new cart paths on all 18 holes...Petersburg Va. should be proud....Now the need a club house for a totally finished product. Jaimey Fagan,(spelling?) Gen. Mgr. is on top of his course and employee's. All friendly and do their jobs

This course was very challenging and the greens are true. We have played many in the area, including private clubs and the greens are the best so far. Absolutely true rolling, the fairways are perfect. No exaggeration. Lake Chesdin is a close 2nd, but will be going back, OFTEN.

Tee boxes, fairways, & greens are all in excellent shape. It's almost unbelievable this is a municipal course. Will definitely play again!

This course is in great shape. Greens are well taken care of. Fairways are great to hit off of, the rough is challenging but fair. By far the best golf course in the tri cities area. It is well taken care of and fun to play. Can be a little pricey. But overall great!

Great course. Well maintained and challenging layout. Par 3s are over 200 yards each from back tees. Several par 4s are tough to reach in 2 from the white tees. Good value, rounds about $40 including cart.
