Dogwood Trace Golf Course

Overall the course was in very good shape for this time of year. Back 9 a little more challenging then front. Course is fun to play. # 15 par 5 then 16 par 3 lets you use all your clubs .

This has come along way greens n fairways in great shape would like clearer. Markers for distances to the greens some holes did not know how far out we were overall very good for the money

Great course to ride or walk. The greens rolled smooth, fairways were nice, and the staff were amung the curtious I've ever experienced. I would recommend this track to anyone looking to play a great round without going broke.

I do not normally play this course because i feel it is too expensive for the quality, however; I got a deal on golfnow and went for it. The greens were in great shape even after having been recently aerated. On the downside, the fairways were cut so tight that it made it extreemly difficult for the average golfer to chip the ball cleanly and effectively. It almost looked like the fairways were wet and got matted down by heavy traffic.

Good rate. ..excellent course condition. Would play again.

I was thoroughly disappointed in my golf outing. We arrived early only to find a cluster of groups waiting to tee off. They double booked tee times and did not have a starter or marshall regulating things. The course wasnt in bad shape. Things were a little close together for my liking and there was a sixsome in front of us, a threesome that wouldn't let us play through. Very hard to enjoy myself.

The grounds crew does a nice job of maintaining the course. With the amount of play that goes on the greens stay in nice shape. Be ready for play to be a little slower on the weekends because of the amount of people playing.

I didn't really expect much but the course was great and enjoyable. It seems like everything had recently been renovated. Nice course.

The improvement to cart paths will help keep course in good shape all year. This is a very fun course with some tough holes and very few easy pars.

I like this course because of the large greens that are kept in great condition. The course is pretty wide open, but there are hazards that make it challenging and fair.

This course was well maintained. Very nice putting green and chipping area. The driving range was in very good shape, but made you fell that you could hit a vehicle traveling down the road. As you would expect for a nice course, there was a lot of time waiting to Tee Off and the second slot. But overall a very nice course and recommend playing.

A really great time. Nicely laid out for a city course. City of Petersburg just took it over and making it a Municiple Course. Well worth the money. The greens keeper has been doing an excellent job (Fairways and Greens). It is worth a 60 minute drive to play this course. Or did like our group did and stop on the way down to Myrtle Beach, it was about 5 minutes off I-95 in Petersburg Va.. It was better than two of the three courses we played in Myrtle Beach. The $50 to $75 courses that is. Definetly going to play again real soon.

Played this course a few times. Have played from the white tees, blue tees and gold tees.. From the white, the course is short with drivable par 4's and short par 3's. From the blue, it is average length with 165-200 yard par 3's. From the gold, it is very challenging with 200 plus par 3's.

The fairways were cut perfectly. Sandtraps were in great condition with a nice sand base. Greens were great. A little fast for my modest abilities but very readable with practice. Pristine overall conditions and very challenging. Third and fourth tee boxes were back further than expected even for the course members that I played the round with. All and all a great course and great round. A little pricy for area without the golfnow price I wouldn't be able to go too often. I pay less at myrtle beach

The course was in great shape and excellent for a public track. It was my first time playing and I went around in great time with three others. No waiting. Will definitely play again.
