Dogwood Trace Golf Course

Haviong played this course way back when it was Lee Park, I can only say how pleased I am with the transformation. The course is moderately challenging, and in good to very good shape. Our pace of play was enhanced when the starter put us off on Hole 10, as there was a 2 tee time back up on #1. The only disappointment was the lack of a hot dog at the turn. We turned around 12:30 and all the dogs were gone. I would recommend this course to anyone.and play here often.

The course is in great shape, green where perfect but Kind of expensive for a muni.

This is the best daily fee course I have played this year. The Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens are beautifully maintained. A treat to play, particularly at very reasonable rates. If you want great golf, friendly people, and a good price, this is the place to play. If you want amenities (club house, locker rooms, grill room, etc.) you won't find them here.

1st time playing here. Loved it! Played well. Beautiful 80 degree day and sunny. Course conditions were great! Great tee boxes, even for the ladies. Greens rolled well. Fairways were good, rough not very difficult compared to other courses. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

It's not Hollywood, but from a Public Golf Course perspective it was every bit as glitzy. The greens were the stars of the runway and the fairways were awesome as well. First time playing, but looking forward to the sequel. It's worth the price of admission.

Nice course....lazy Saturday afternoon for $38.50...12:36 tee time....can't beat that. My only suggestion for improvement is more yardage markers.....love it when courses have an indication for 50/100/150 yards out. Once in a while, I saw a 150 marker on a hole, but other than that, it was frustrating.

First time playing this course, nicely kept up. Much better then some that are much more expensive. Not the most challenging but we'll worth the time and money

Good course. Be more up date with golf now . love the updated cart paths . Need improvements on drinking water.I don't understand, why more courses are not more lady friendly . My wife loves to play along with me but, courses make to long for them to play .i think if they would make easier for them . Women would have more fun , and would come out to play more often

as a first time visitor to this course I intend to return soon. The golf course was very player friendly and a good time was enjoyed by me and my group.

Great course and rates are getting lower I'm not sure why, but all in all great course one of the best around.

Though the back 9 is a little utilitarian, the front 9 is awesome. The 9th reminds me a lot of the 18th at Sawgrass. The practice green is kind of a lame, and the high school is an eye sore, but the conditions of the course make it more than worth it. I definitely see a membership in the future. Fun and challenging.

Great course that will challenge your game, but still enjoyable whatever your experience level. Food options are a drawback with no course beverage cart. Love playing here!

Better than any other public course in the Richmond area.

Dogwood Trace continues to have the best greens in Central Virginia! As usual, the course conditions are excellent and the staff very professional and courteous! I recommend this golf course to anyone in the area looking for a great course to play at a great value! It's outstanding! I can't wait to play there again.

PGA approved course, well maintained, water stops conveniently placed, and excellent practice facilities(driving range, putting green, chipping green, bunkers).

The staff were extremely helpful, first giving me directions to the course and then getting me set up. I started out alone but paired up with a guy that knew the course and that made it a bit easier, as this was my first round at Dogwood Trace. Everyone I have met, that has played here, has recommended it highly. And now I am too! The course is a bit challenging with water on some holes but the greens are in excellent shape. Go play!

Got off the first tee on time. Young college kid behind the counter could use some 'customer service' training. Granted it was Mother's Day and was probably missing his Mom.

What a pleasant surprise. It's a tight little course with beautifully kept greens and a fairway nicely kept. I will definitely come here again.
