The 18-hole Dogwood Trace Golf Course (formerly known as Lee Park Golf Course) in Petersburg, VA is a public golf course. Stretching over 6600 yards from the back tees while playing to a par 72 the course features four different sets of tee boxes and can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Players will find extensive bunkering lakes and ponds with bulkheads that come into play on several holes and well-manicured challenging greens.

Overcrowded
I’ve played several times at this course and enjoy it for the most part. My main issue is the pace of play. I’m often waiting for other players in front of me while i feel rushed cause of the group behind me. Either the tee times are booked too close together or nobody’s at the first hole making sure people are teeing off at the right time. Overall it’s not a bad course just a few things that make it less enjoyable.

Staff is superb, Mike, Jamie, Noble and the crew are top notch!
Course is in awesome condition. Very forgiving for a beginner and tough enough for a lower handicap. Always a good time at Dogwood. We look forward to the next round and many great great rounds to come.
Golfing at Dogwood Trace
Courses in very good condition, greens and bunkers excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and accommodating would highly recommend playing at this course.

1st time playing here, putted great on these greens. Rest of the course in great condition. Wide course so very friendly. Will be back soon.
Great Outing
Dogwood Trace remains an outstanding value and excellent course for a round of golf for all levels. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Important to know your capabilities in order to pick the right tee box for your game as the white tees have several long and challenging par fours.
Beautiful round.
Course was dry and slightly fast. Although we didn't have a tee time, we were able to get on after a very minimal wait for a senior morning wave to finish. Staff and management were very courteous and professional, as always, in assisting us getting tee off in ease.
