Stumpy Lake Golf Course

Really enjoyable course, although the hook I played at the first tee should have told me how the overall round was going to go.

As a newbie to the golf world it was nice that this course had a lot of wide open fairways, which given how often I missed them really was a testament to how badly I played

First few greens have some damage and don't look great, and the greens are playing quite fast right now (as are the fairways). The rough that surrounds isn't too bad almost as if they are trying to be an easy course to play. The one thing I was shocked at was that there wasn't a lot of water around the course.

Still a very enjoyable if very hot and humid round of golf, I will definitely be back to play this one again.

The tee boxes were so bad you could not put a tee in the ground. There were broken tees littering the tee boxes.

The fairways if you could call them that were more dirt than grass. The bunkers were also mostly dirt, but we paid full price.

The course was very crowded an pace of play was slow.

Takes way too long to check in and pay for round at pro shop. I felt like I was with my account doing my taxes. Also need to take better care of the course and greens. Many of the fairways are still extremely dry and hard. Some greens still had marks from air rating. Need a good greens keepers to fix those greens.

It is a nice course it has really nice views of The lake but I do not think this is a 45 to $50 course It has bear spots on the fairways and the ball does not set up on the grass like it does on $50 courses But I do like stumpy Lake and I will play there when I can get a deal

Only thing I could complain about is the tee boxes. They were pretty hard. Could barely get my tee in the ground on some holes.

The greens were just done and there is so much sand, putting is a pain. Still a good course and not as wet as I thought it was going to be.

54 dollars for aerated greens and sand. Pretty disrespectful to be honest, tee boxes are half grass half dirt, fairways are hit or miss , either giant puddles or weedy grass. It should be a crime to charge 54 dollars.

The last few years they just cant get these greens right. $45 felt steep with sand and hardened mud spots on about half of the greens. Nice new carts though

Went out for the first time to this course. Probably had the worst performance of my career but still a fun time. Course is forgiving and losing balls is not a issue if you was to spray and pray like I did that day. If you have your driver off the tee in order the day you visit this course, you’re money. Great course and will be returning.

The course is definitely fun to play, but there aren’t any fairways…just weedy grass. They are full of dirt patches and divots. Some of the greens are alright while others need work. They are hard as a rock. The tee boxes definitely need work. Took 4.5 hours to get through 18 holes. Seems like they had groups going out every 4 minutes.

I do enjoy the staff and the uniqueness of some of the holes. I just wish the course was in better shape. For 31$ it’s ok, but 50$ on the weekend is definitely not worth it. Go to sewells point, VB National, or hells point.
