A Beautiful Vacation Course

Today I played Lely’s Championship Mustang Course

I have played it numerous times over the years , always the same wonderful experience.

The course is long and a good Drivers course but very fair and wide on some holes.

I always enjoy my experience at Levy, that goes for the Flamingo as well.

The staff is always accommodating and friendly from the Proshop to the guys running the carts.

I would say the fabulous Flamingo is a shot makers course and the Mustang is challenging but more of a vacation course.

Nice place.

Two courses. We were booked on the Mustang but they recently aerated and offered to put us out on the Flamingo. Good shape some really wet spots from the rain the day before. Overall nice experience. Oh yeah, $5 for a Gatorade :(.

Excellent conditions

The course was in great condition and the greens rolled well.

Pace of play was great as our 4some finished our round in 3 hrs on a late Saturday morning round.

I always enjoy this track.

The course had its challenges, but also had some straightforward holes.

Conditions were A+. Fairways were nicely manicured and the greens rolled true.

The greens were on the slower side.

This was a fun course and I scored well on it.

Straight forward course

The course was fair and no surprises. Fairways were wide open and not a whole.lot of areas to get in trouble. The greens were recently aerated and sanded but it didnt really affect putting. This is summer in south Florida and course was not that busy. Off course amenities were on limited hours, so not open for a beer after. I got a great deal through golf now. I would have been disappointed to pay regular price for this course.

Great Value

This is an excellent 36 hole layout. Staff always very professional and accommodating. Tee boxes and fairways immaculate, greens recently seeded and dragged, did not yield ideal greens condition.

Would highly recommend this course otherwise.
