Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Mustang Course

Truly the best course I’ve played in Naples and managed very well from the curb to the starter and beyond...

We played on March 25th, the course was not very busy. The cost was $189 plus tax =$200, I have played many courses in SW Florida this one is overpriced.

Enjoyed the actual course, the staff seemed troubled by their jobs and the players. Just don’t understand that mentality.

Course was in very good shape. I play a lot of private club courses in Naples area and if they were a 10 Mustang was a solid 8. Very pleased with course and pace of play. Price competitive with Market.

Nice staff and good course layout but conditions don't necessarily align to price point. Pace wasn't bad for a Sunday afternoon. Saw the drink cart at second hole and never again and the turn is not close to the clubhouse. Again, this doesn't seem to align with green fees.

Low handicap player who enjoyed the course. Greens were true and fast. Pace of play, the course pushes 4 hour rounds which is nice. Like any cart GPS system, if you want accurate yardage numbers compare with your rangefinder. A challenge from the tips for sure as a lot of the longer (450+) par 4’s played into the wind and played as short par 5’s. Firm greens made it hard to keep the ball on the green on approaches with longer and mid irons. Wide fairways and short rough make it playable though

Pace of play was super! Fairways in decent shape, greens getting greener than they have beer lately.

We were told the greens were running at 11.6. Not even close. They knowingly gave us a cart that the GPS didn’t work. Called pro shop and they said they knew it wasn’t working but we could stop in after 9 holes and see if they had another cart. We were looking to buy in Naples and very quickly eliminated Lely. The sand traps were a rocky mess. That could easily lead to damaging your clubs.

Course was in average condition, the greens were pretty dry and brown due to under watering, making them hard and very fast.

Pace of play was average.

Staff was outstanding!

Overall the course was in good shape. The greens were very good and putted true. The staff was friendly and helpful. The layout of the course was challenging for all levels of golfers, but playable and fair. The carts had GPS with visuals of each hole that helpful for someone playing for the first time. I would definitely play here again.

With the exception of the greens, this is a pretty fair to mediocre course. We paid $116 and teed off at 2pm. $116 for this course...C'mon now! At 2pm this course should charge $60 or less.

Pace of play was good, but I won't come back here.

The hot deal price made it worth the experience. Otherwise, the normal price was too high. The greens were good, but the rest of the course was a bit ragged. The pace of play was good.

Enjoyed playing the course but feel it is run -for an American Course where normally service and management is excellent-quite poorly

The marshalls did not manage play well which added to the slow speed not improve it and the staff handling and cleaning the clubs on completion of play were more interested in soliciting tips than doing a proper job-again use to tipping with no problems but guys do the job!!!!!

Course was in great shape with good visuals from tee to green. Not a lot of blind shots. Pretty forgiving fairways without water coming into play on every hole.

Overall good value.
