Golfer Reviews
Fantastic Courses, Great Staff.
Tee time 7:51, mustang course, great shape, fast greens. Played with two good old boys from up north. 3 hrs and 10 minutes. When we got in we decided to play the flamingo which also was in great shape. Never had to wait for shot. Played in 3 hrs 45 minutes as a foursome. Picked up a sweed on the turn. After a great 36 holes, settled into the 19th hole, sam snead, which lasted til 7:30pm and was ready for the hot tub and bed. If ur in the area, u have to play these courses and thank staff for job well done.
Great Layout
In town visiting parents and had the opportunity to play this course. From the clubhouse to the first tee this was the friendliest staff I've encountered on a golf course and I play a lot of golf. Almost every hole has its own unique layout. Be sure and take a good look at your in-cart GPS as the tee boxes don't always point you in the right direction. The greens were firm, green and in great shape. Fairways were in pretty decent shape, a little dry, but then again it hasn't rained in the area since early January.
Great layout
Layout of holes was excellent. Beautiful experience. Very very windy day and course does not provide much cover/break from wind.
Greens were fast and course was in good shape. Be sure u check the GPS for hazards as there are many u cannot see from the tee box.
Good golf for the money
Played 18holes @2pm. Good pace, good conditions. If you hit it more or less straight you'll never be in trouble. Not the most challenging course but nice.
Recovering from Irma
I played the first day the course opened from the devastation of Hurricane Irma. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in very good shape. The rough and some grassy areas around the greens were just coming back or had been recently sodded and were not very good. The sodded areas were squares that had not yet rooted. The layout is very nice and many of the holes are quite challenging.
Very good course in excellent condition. The fastest greens I have ever played.
Course is back in good shape
Our golf cart was losing juice. We called the pro shop before 5:00 pm to get a new cart so we could finish our round. No one was there and the electronic request for the new cart did not result in one coming out. We had to cut our round short to ensure we got in before dark. Yet no one was there and the pro shop was locked up tight upon our arrival. Not a great way of ending an otherwise nice day.
Great Course for the Money
This course has a good layout, and is challenging enough for a 5 handicap like me. The course had a lot of difficult holes, a good amount of water and sand. This is a good course if you play once or twice a month to go to. Also has a great restaurant inside the pro shop.
Great Course
First time on Mustang course very well maintained and Greens were awesome
