Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Mustang Course

Was very impressed with the greens. Played fast and true.

Interesting layout.

Played in under 4 hours.

They need GPS or maps because you can get in trouble if you have not played here before.

Used Golf Now so was $98.

The Course was in really good conditon but I really missed a course map or gps in the carts or signs with the tee boxes.We played with a guy who had played there a lot and that saved our round today.The starter told us that they have been waiting for gps to the carts for a long time now.

I would like to come back but I think it’s to expensive.

Good course for a non golfer. If you’re an avid golfer you will be underwhelmed by the design and layout.

Staff were very good and friendly.

Every tee marker was at the front of each tee block. There were limited sprinkler heads with yardage markers and no GPS on carts. Plenty of blind shots so you would drive up and your ball would be lost in a hazard you couldn’t see from the tee.

All flags were white so you couldn’t tell where the pin was on the green.

Teed off early afternoon for a reduced rate, finished as the sun set. Conditions are excellent throughout.

Course was in nice shape and the staff was very good; however we couldn’t figure out why it was taking almost 4 hours to play 14 holes. We went in early as we had another engagement to go too, and found a 6-some playing on the 17th hole as we went by. No rangers were sited after we started playing our round!

Over seeding range and it was unavailable. I pick courses that have ranges, and this deficiency should have been advertised. Ruined my day. I will never play there again.

We had an exzellent round of Golf and we played as a twosome. The weather was perfect and can recommend this Golfcourse to our friends.

Great staff and course is in superb condition. Have played there quite a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of challenging holes. Pace of play yesterday was 3hr40 min which we really liked!!

Arrived at the course at 7am for our 7:30 tee time. Never expected there would be no food available anywhere. We figured we could at least get a snack and coffee. NOPE!! They told us a beverage cart would be available at 8am. We never saw the the cart until we made the turn at 9:15. We were THE ONLY players on the course!! Otherwise the course was fantastic.

Great course. Enjoyed the Challange. Thankful for first class service from clubhouse and cart gentleman. Although my cart died, still had a blast.

We have played Lely many times but are very disappointed in the condition of the course. Everything seems to be in perfect condition until you get to the greens, which are HORRIBLE. Sand, holes, uneven, bumpy and diseased. Which means you can never have a true roll. We complained at the end and they mentioned they were punched recently and don’t care for the greens until season starts. This is unacceptable for the price they are charging. Every other course that is doing maintenance on the course of any kind gives you a notice on Golf Now and lowers their prices. There was no warning! Save your money and play on a course with good conditions!

Great course and seems to be forgiving in spots. Very enjoyable round. Greens and fairways in excellent shape.

When I can play 2 days at a course and never have a ball off the short stuff, it's friendly. The course is well manicured, the layout has enough water and traps to keep it challenging. For an old guy playing the white tees and being 200-220 off the tee, there are some longer approach shots, but the greens held and I was able to score. The people are extremely friendly and courteous and anxious to please. I will play there every time I'm in the area.

We played at low season, price was above average so we expected something better than all the nice golf courses we already played in Fort Myers - Naples area.

The fairways were not green so far to dry, there is no water and ice machine on the golf course where we always had 2 in the golf courses we played at half the price of the Lely.

So not the value for the price paid.
