Fox Hollow Golf Club

I’ve played fox hundreds of times throughout the last 20 years and have never seen the course in such poor condition in its current state. In the courses defense, the are re doing all tee boxes on par 3s and some bunkers/areas around some greens throughout the course. However, this does not reflect in the pricing for this course.

With summer in full effect, the course is absolutely drenched and the fairways/bunkers are unplayable. If you hit your ball remotely high off the tee, it will be plugged in the fairway and unfindable.

While this is a great course when the conditions are right, I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I appreciate only specific holes being CPO rather than just making it all. The group we were paired with were terrible. We were asked to speed up but the group behind us never was on us. Overall I love the course.

Had.a great time playing "THE FOX" again and going back again next week. Truly a great place to play golf. Professional and courteous workers greet you upon arrival and work is always being done on the course to keep it in top condition.

Greens had some rough patches but over all we’re in good shape. However, they are replacing all of the tee boxes on the par 3s. So every par 3 was 80-85 yards for all tee boxes, would have been nice to know this prior to the round. Great layout but probably not worth the 80-90$ to play at the moment

All Par 3 tee boxes are all being redone. Which was not advertised in Golf Now app. Several of the greens have dead grass. Lots of crabgrass and dead areas in the fairways. Needs more TLC.

Fox Hollow is in great condition.....nice fast low cut greens and fairways.....however, even from the forward tees ( 4800 yds ) there is plenty of water hazards to avoid.....unfortunately, we only played 9 holes as the rains caused us to discontinue play.....but were give a 9 hole "rain check".....we will return again someday as it's a beautiful course....a bit difficult for a high handicapper, but still worth playing at least once or twice a year......

We had to go from back to front and even though the course was wet it was in good condition. We got rained out after 13 holes., but it was nice to be back at The Fox.

Great layout, but atrocious pace of play, no rangers present, and weedy/patchy fringes and areas around the green. Tee box grass no better than your classic FL crabgrass. Greens were slow. Don’t understand the hype of this place. Also, $9 for a bucket of 30 balls. Will not be back

Pace of play was main issue. Over 5hr pace of play with no rangers. Beautiful course layout with some great holes. Greens playing fairly well, fringe and rough can be unforgiving and spotty.

The course is not in good condition at all, greens rolled extremely slow

We showed up to play and were paired with another two sum on a tuesday at eight thirty a m. The locals play in pairs and tee from the reds and probably shoot plus one making pace a play for normal folks or high handicappers, nearly impossible during the week. The greens were great. The fairways were great. Fringes and bunkers needed some upkeep, but overall, it's a great value, and I would recommend to a friend with a low handicap, but not a friend with a high handicap.

Some of the tee boxes and fairways had some rough spots and the green were on the slow side. But not too bad for the money.

I travel to the Tampa area a few times a year and I'm always looking for new courses to play. We played copperhead at Innisbrook the day before and it was a bit lackluster, especially for the rate they charged. Fox Hollow was absolutely incredible. Greens were a bit slow, but other than that, lots of clean lies in the fairway, great layout. Will definitely be coming back as soon as possible.
