Fox Hollow Golf Club

Despite the very wet grounds due to recent heavy rains, this golf course lives up to the great reputation of Robert Trent Jones’s talent. It is an exceptional layout. It was unfortunate that we caught the ongoing re-sodding of the tee boxes of all the par 3 holes so we did not get the true test. The longest par 3 we played was 103 yards. I was disappointed in the greens, slow speed and numerous bare spots. This is an outstanding test of golf and would get 5 stars from me if the greens were even average.

Fox always very nice. Played late morning so pace was great as hotter than .. The course is maintaining the Par 3 tee boxes, so on the front, both are ~75 yds at present. The back side par 3's are about standard. Greens running slow for Fox, but enjoyable round and still quite good.

This lovely course has gone in the wrong direction condition wise . There greens on the front were not mowed & tees were not either . Weeds & grass were in bunkers . What a shame because course used to be great . Not worth the $$ until conditions improve !

This course has gone way down hill. There is weeds in the bunkers and fairways are spotty. They are replacing some tee boxes and round some greens so maybe next year.

I am newer to playing golf seriously, and found this course very fun, but it does have a lot of hazards so it was a bit too challenging for me at this point in my game. I shot a 119, and my goal is to break 100 right now, so I would say it was a good day overall! The quality of the course is always in top condition and I enjoy using their practice range several times a week.

Once again we arrived as it was still dark but when the first bit of daylight hit we were first on tee. Course was bit wet in place so no roll in the fairways but only one hole was cart path only. As always excellent staff and workers make it a pleasure to make the drive from Riverview to Trinity to enjoy The Fox. Will be back next week. See You Then!!!!!!

Could be a decent course, but it was in terrible condition and ALL the par 3 tee boxes were under construction, which was not disclosed. Slow play, poor conditions, rude staff - a place to avoid.

Course in great condition. They are a few tee boxes on Par 3s and a Par 4 that are under construction so they are extremely short. 80 yard shots. But overall course is really nice and even under construction.

The timing was wrong for my first visit in mid-August. All the par 3 holes had no tee box, as they were installing new sod. So we shot all 4 par 3's from a make shift tee box of 70-90 yard away. No cart person as nobody was there this week of repairs. Rates should have been reduced tremendously. Come back in October should be in great shape.

Sadly the course was not in good shape. All par threes are under reconstruction, pace was awful, more bad patches in the grass than I’ve ever seen here. Outside staff is always terrific!

Rained the night before so cart path only on the first 10 holes and Hole #18. Clearly, the course doesn't hold water well. Visiting from out of town. Should have called before making tee time because all par-3s had temporary tee boxes. So, three of the par-3s were less than 90 yards and one was 120 yards down from normal 170 yards. It is a nice layout -- not easy at all. Greens were very slow. Traps also need work. I guess $75 doesn't buy you as much anymore. Round took 4:45. It was painful watching the group in front of us playing from the 6,200-yard tees and most of their tee shots didn't reach the ladies tees. They had a great time I am sure because they were always a hole or more behind the group in front them. Probably felt they had the whole course to themselves. On the other hand, we had to wait on every shot.
