Fox Hollow Golf Club

Lots of water and you need to execute some great shots. Great tee boxes and most greens were in great shape. A few had damaged areas. Pace of play; they say 4 hours 10 minutes, but wee took 51/2 hours due to slow play ahead of us. No Marshall to monitor play..

Most of the greens are in terrible shape. The 11th green has a giant spot under repair that looks like a bomb went off. The 14th green has a massive burn/gash through it. Most of the greens have big burn patches or bald spots. Tee boxes are in good shape and the fairways are decent, but the greens are in terrible condition for the money they charge. Add a ranger that rides around yelling at you to stay on the cart path when it is not cart path only and it is just a subpar experience. Oh and they pack the course so pace of play was just over 5 hours.

Slow play out of the gate. No cart girl for 8 holes, and when she did show up she didn’t have anything but shots and…chips, slim pickings, also we started late because we didn’t get our cart until we teed off. Apparently they are short on carts, well that happens when you put tee times so close together!

This was the first time I've played in Florida let alone a Trent Jones course of which I've always wanted to play. The course was very nice. Pace of play was very slow. They try and stuff as many people on the course as they can which results in backups. I was not able to finish the last hole as it was just too dark. I really wanted a hat from there shop (since I'm from out of town)but by then they were already closed. Prices are okay if you find there non peak hours or deals. I would still recommend to anyone and would go again. Just wish they would not stuff people onto the course.

Great shape in every way with the notable exception, on this occassion where 4 (or so) of the greens have some problem spots. Not a huge deal, and I'm sure they're on it- it happens. Still a great track!

I haven’t played Fox Hollow in several years and that WILL NOT HAPPEN again. This course is leaps and bounds better than any other course by leaps and bounds. Practice facilities are excellent, course conditions are exponentially superior to any other course around. Do yourself a favor and play this fabulous RTJ layout, you can’t go wrong. 10/10!!

Pro shop staff good was greeted and registered I do wish someone would have advised me they were waiting on carts to come in for golfers to go out. As at all clubs pro shop advised me to show my receipt to starter. Guess they didn’t realize starter was an imbecile. He just ignored me, I went to hit balls good range good balls, nice chipping area. I approached starter of course he didn’t know anything about me cause he brushed me off earlier. I think I was to join another group as I was a single. No this bozo sends me out by myself on a full course. A twosome comes up behind me so I ask if they would like to join me they say no🧐 What a place???? I play 2 balls have to call it a day after 15 holes 5 + hours. Good course condition fair, ok at $60 give starter his walking papers.

Probably the most enjoyable course we played in the four days we golfed in Tampa. The greens were aerated evidently, and in pretty rough shape (scars, burning, patches)… if not that- 5 stars all the way!

We enjoyed our round. 4 1/2 hours was ok. Greens were a little thin. Overall it was a good experience.A l little pricey.
