Fox Hollow Golf Club

A very good course in good condition. Fair price. Always a pleasure.

Nice facility, nice staff, challenging course, but for being a much higher than average cost golf course since the the start of Covid they could spread out some of the staff crew stationed around the Pro Shop and practice area to being a course Marshall/Ranger. Our foursome was late to tee off to start with and by time we made the turn was 30+ minutes behind pace resulting in a 5+ hour round. If the course is going to advertise as being one of the premier courses in the Tampa Bay area then maintain the typical 4 hr 15 min playing round time.

Course was in perfect condition. Greens were soft and rolled smooth. Fairways were full of grass, no weeds or bare spots. The layout is very challenging. Lots of water features and fairway bunkers everywhere. Most greens are guarded by bunkers. It’s a bargain for a premium course! I’ll be playing it again next time I visit Tarpon Springs.

Course was highly reviewed. Layout was fun and challenging but the course was not well taken care of. Pace of play was good.

Full T sheet but Marshall’s were on the ball and moved people along.

Good T blocks, grass in fairways and sand in bunkers. Sounds pretty simple but you don’t always get that in Florida in April.

Greens rolled well.

The course was in decent condition. Fairways good. Pace of Play needs to be monitored. We had a 5 hour round, waiting on

every tee boxes.

Fox Hollow is in excellent condition with fairways the set up the ball and very true greens.

Got a deal for Fox Hollow, $66. Normal fee is $95. This day saw many twosomes in front of us, also a twosome. There were foursomes behind us. Pace of play was agonizingly slow. Over 4 hours for the round. Called the clubhouse from the 10th hole asking for a ranger. They had none for the day. I told him that the foursomes behind us were waiting on the tee because of the slow play. Man at the front desk said he could see twosomes all the way to the 18th hole(via cart signals). He said it was going to be that way; nobody was holding us up. I disagree. Twosomes shouldn't play that slow. Those that do belong in a nursing home, not on a golf course.

Everything here is outstanding and I've not found a better course in the area... Period. RTJ design is fantastic. Just play it.

Play this course every time I’m in town, by far the best course in the area. Already booked to play again next week
