Fox Hollow Golf Club

Way over priced for the conditions of the course, slow greens, poorly maintained bunkers, overall not as good as pre-pandemic.

Everything was good except for the outrageous cart fee for a non-player. The most expensive cart fee we have ever been charged. Played the course in January 2022 & was not charged the rider fee. We can understand a fee between $10-$20 but not $35.00. I guess it depends on who checks you in. Enjoyed being paired with 3 great players.

Our start was delayed by 30min and then it was a 5hr round. Not good.

Tees, fairways and greens were all in very good shape. The greens were quick and not easy to read. Fairways were in good shape for this time of year. An over all wonderful experience. I would recommend playing the course to anyone.

Very nice course layout. However, the conditions and the 5 1/2 hour round make it hard to enjoy. No cart girl came around and no ranger was out. With all the nice courses around, do not spend your money here

We were in Tampa for the weekend and decided to play a round.

We didn’t bring our clubs so first was the rentals. Old mismatched sets. The driver I was given the grip was falling off of. Charged $50 for clubs from a garage sale.

The course was in bad condition. You require a croquette mallet to make a putt. I realize it’s winter in Florida but I had expected some care.

This was at best a $50 round not $120.00.

Pace of play was fine. Restaurant and beverage cart staff were great.

We did get paired up with a fantastic couple that made the day great.

All good. Wish the greens were faster. Love the course.

Players were literally hitting balls at me? I thought I was in the war tried calling the Pro shop, but there was no answer. Those players should be banned from ever playing golf again.

The front 9 was great we were paired with 2 members that only played 9. The back 9 is another story the group behind us shot balls at us two to three balls for 4 out of the 9 holes. I was afraid of being hit. We called the pro shop but no one answered.

Best overall course layout and conditions across courses I played this week in Tampa/Clearwater area. Fairways and greens were in great shape! Course was challenging from the white tees - but still very playable - with several of the 400+-yd par 4 holes unreachable in two shots. Will definitely schedule on my next trip to area. Greens were very receptive to approach shots and ran true for putting.

Family 4-ball and we played the course for the first time. Caddy master helped us to find our way around the club house and our lunch was great.

We did not have any problems withe pace of play which really great.

Will not hesitate to recommend this club to friend in the future!

Greens are smooth and undulating mostly big greens. Every hole has green side and fairway bunkers.Lots of water holes and water sometimes not visible from tees . Use preview option on gps GPS screen in every cart. 3-4 very long par 4’s even from the white tees. Very challenging , not for hackers. And priced accordingly

Had an enjoyable experience. It was a wide open morning tee time. A couple groups in front were struggling to keep pace which was a downer. Course was the best I’ve tried in the area so far so worth the higher price of those in the area if your lucky not to have inconsiderate people in front.

I can see why Fox Hollow is rated one of the favourite public-access courses in the area. It was a treat to play off of green fairways, and the greens were in fantastic shape! The tee boxes were in good shape too, with minimal damage and cut grass. I was surprised by the hole variety when we first arrived, as I was presented with what looked like a massive farm field. The added GPS in the golf carts were a great touch!

It was a 4:30+ round with a noon start, but we’re were on holidays so wasn’t upsetting in the least.

Maybe tell the older gent acting as starter that day to lighten up and smile a little bit. He was a little too gruff to be dealing with the paying public. The guys in the Pro Shop, however we’re great. Thanks for a great round Fox Hollow!
