Fox Hollow Golf Club

First time playing. Way better than I was expecting from the reviews. Tees and fairway were good. Greens were good. Rough was inconstant. The layout and views of this course is amazing. Pace of play was slow but to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. I was extremely pleased for the price point. Best public course I have played in Tampa in a while. I have played Fox Hollow many times over the last several years. It is a great layout and a challenging course, but it has been allowed to deteriorate badly. The greens were once a pride; now they are thin, scarred, and bumpy. The aprons are a mess, in many places lacking turf altogether, and the tee boxes are a mix of ok and turfless. It is such a shame.

The condition of the course was not up to its previous standards. Very little turf in many areas around greens and bunkers. It’s a great track with fast greens so was disappointed to see so many barren areas. Many were even circled by the grounds crew.

Started with meeting the starters in the parking lot and got even friendlier from there senior tees very challenging especially over water would play again

First time playing Fox Hollow, what a course. Made you work on every hole. The back nine is something else. The only downfall was the punched the grens on Monday and we played Wed.

Other than that would totally recommend this course.

very challenging course for short hitters from white tees. Greens are also challenging. Course was in great shape for time of year. Love the challenge but like most golf courses, it is getting expensive. Will try for once a year

Definitely would play again. Good condition and pace of play was excellent. Just over 4 hours. Snack bar was quick.

Awful greens & they made us play the front 9 twice with out letting us know until the first tee

This is the best course in the area and is a great value if you can get a hot deal

Love this course layout. Great views. Tons of water and wildlife. Mostly elevated greens make it play challenging. There has not been much rain here, so conditions were a little thin in spots, but still a great day.

Keep an eye out for gators!!

Greens and tee boxes in not great shape for the amount of money you are spending on the round. Better options for cheap elsewhere in the area

This used to be our favorite golf course, but recently joined a club closer to home so have not played in over a year. Course is in terrible shape, bad greens, poor fairways.... no way should you be charging over $100/round, at this condition, should be no more than $40.

The layout of the course is very nice. The restaurant and bar is better than average. Most fairways are in decent shape and nice.

I’ve played all over the world and country and this course is fairly priced at $50-60. The $100+ they are charging is insane. Most greens had burnt marks and very thin and some were bumpy. Tee boxes need love and water too. Sand traps were in good shape though.
