Fox Hollow Golf Club

POP was 5 hours and 20 minutes. At one point we counted 12 carts on one of the par 3’s. Aside from that, nice course.

Great condition, awesome staff, especially the starters, best conditioned course I played this spring. Challenging, rewarding, great track.

Staff: friendly and apologetic for waiting.

Carts: Electric. Great shape with GPS, scorecard, and speakers. Cooler (if you purchase beverages) and divot mix attached to side. USB charging ports.

Tee boxes: Great shape for winter. Never had to hunt for a grassy spot or a strategic angle.

Fairways: Great condition.

Sand: Pretty good. Some wet dirt underneath so if you try to take a lot of sand your club will grab and the ball may fly.

Greens: Pretty quick but very unpredictable, as is the case every time I play. Sometimes the greens will break. Sometimes they won't. Sometimes fast. Sometimes slow. It's a crapshoot.

Pace of play: Very slow. Teed off 15 minutes late. No carts available except right before tee off. Took 3 hours 20 minutes to play 11 holes.

Other: No designated drop areas on common water spots. Out of bounds clearly marked.

All good. Except bag drop attendant totally ignored my two sets of clubs. at the drop. Starter appeared to be challenged. Twosom traveled in front of us after 13 holes and said we should have left them play through, even though we had NO gaps in front of us. Jumping the line may be the norm for the course. Ranger would be helpful. Very enjoyable layout. Greens in good shape and good luck with the undulating reads.

The course was packed, but we were still able to complete the round in 4.5 hours. This was my second time playing here. Looking forward to my 3rd round…

During the winter in Florida most course fairways have very little grass to hit from but this course is in great condition.

The staff was very helpful, the carts were clean & restaurant staff were excellent.

Great course to play. Long if you want but with many tee boxes to choose from you can make it what you want. Great condition and will definitely play here again. Little slow pace for a Wednesday afternoon. 2:14 tee time and just made it to 18. Good thing there wasn’t a 19. Loved it

Course is in a great shape, greens are very well maintained. Members hold up pace of play with their push trolley. No starter controlling pace of play and members cut into course informant if you.

Bunkers were like concrete but the rest of the course was in great condition, unlike my game that day lol. Lots of water...bring extra balls.

Course layout and condition was very good to excellent. Multiple tees to play from. Holes require precise shots to the greens. I really enjoyed it. Staff was generally unfriendly. We were playing a par 3 and the food/drink cart approached us and stoped. We bought 2 soft drinks. The Marshall chastised is for stopping on a par 3 to get our drinks. The group behind us was still on the previous hole Green. When arriving at the course we were told where to park. An employee came down to the parking area in a cart. I assumed he planned to bring me back to the clubhouse. I was wrong he came by the car and departed by himself in the cart and arrived back at the clubhouse. He definitely missed a nice tip. But…. The course was really a joy to play.

Fox Hollow is still one of my favorite courses in Florida. It is challenging but fair from whatever tee box you choose.

The staff is friendly & helpful.

Greens are in great condition & roll true. Give it a go, you will enjoy the experience!!!

Enjoyed the course but not the 5hr 10 minute round! Never did see a Marshall? Club house was closed when we finished, near dark! Very disappointed in response from clubhouse when l called today, said that’s how it goes on a 1:14 tee time…not a very encouraging comment to promote returning…
