About
A 238-yard par 3, a 259-yard par 4, a treacherous hole called the "Train Wreck" and a five-hole stretch around a cavernous dry lake dubbed "Crater Junction" all help make the semi-private Zellwood Station Golf Club unique. Featuring hilly terrain not often seen at Florida golf courses, the George Maddox design, which opened in 1974, is a challenge. Located about 30 minutes from Orlando, Zellwood Station G.C. is known to be in good shape, especially the greens.

Great course layout
The course was fun and challenging. The course has the smallest greens I've ever seen and played on. Unfortunately the greens not in the best shape, but It looks like the greens would be fast and very difficult if they were in top-notch condition. No complaints every course in Florida has some issues right now due to the heat and covid19. Will play again when it's back up to speed.

This course is one to play
I’m fairly new to golf. I started in December and try to go weekly when I can get some friends to come with. That being said, you can imagine I’m not fairly quick at playing. I’m going to take some time because I’m new. However, the course here was VERY quick. There was no waiting at any tee box. They did warn us and said they were doing aeration on the grass so we were expecting more sand and LOTS of holes. I will say, the holes didn’t really affect the play so much and the sand gave the needed friction to make my game that much better. The staff were great as well. There was no cart girl to offer drink before the first 9. I asked about that and was told normally she comes on the weekends due to COVID19. Though when things aren’t bad, she comes out during the week.
All I’m in, great course! Gets tougher as you play and keeps you on your game. Will definitely play here again when the lawn is up to par.

Great
Awesome course, great for the value.
Some greens need work, and the tee boxes aren’t flat and some also need work.
But considering the price and the course layout, it’s awesome and definitely recommend to anyone that wants to get a good fund round in.

Rolling hills
I was pleasantly surprised about the variety of holes and the need for all kinds of shots to get around the course, both longer shots and play around the greens. The course was in good condition and the greens were very fast but fair. I will be back again soon!

totally different than your typical flat florida course. this place has actual topography. pretty good condition, better than many i have been at. i think you will like it

Great Day
First time playing this course and definitely enjoyed every minute of it. I will be returning and recommending this to others. The fairways are narrow so be prepared to test your ability to hit the ball straight. Do to the COVID 19 I don’t have any positive or negative feedback on the staff, clubhouse, or onsite facilities. I tried to stay away as much as possible from those encounters.

Good value
Tee to green course was an “8”
Green last time played super fast ( picked up 4 times for couldn’t get the ball to stop close to cup) this time slower but more putt-able .

Poor organization
Started us on the back nine for no apparent reason. Behind a slow foursome. At the turn, another foursome was there so three groups on the tee and no starter or Marshall. Nearly five hours and totally unnecessary if anyone paying attention. Very frustrating.
