Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Pine Glen
About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, a 9-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

Too many people
Pace of play was excruciating. We had to wait for two or three groups ahead of us at every tee.
Bumpy greens
Gorgeous course and area. My only complaint was the conditions of the greens. Very rough and inconsistent. I’d definitely come back though.
Average Course
Pine Glen is just an average course but the allure is that it is local and its cheap.
Not maintain poor conditions
Not maintain poor conditions. I cannot believe they Are charging full price for this course worst condition leaves everywhere not maintain at all they are changing full price.
Maybe on a list minute tee time
Staff was helpful and professional. The tee boxes needed a cut and had a lot of divots on them.
The greens had scarring from a fungus disease or some other issue and were not smooth.
poor greens
I have played this course in the past and it was great. this outing the putting was like going through a mine field....greens were bad. I was hoping to talk to someone who played the par 72 courses there...i was going to ask about the greens that way i know whether to play there or not. I wouldnt play for 15 dollars with greens like the way they were.
Fair
Reserved a 6:30am tee time. Showed up with no email warning of a “frost delay.” Not the golf courses fault, but was told we had to wait until 7:45am to play and that we’d have to start on hole 5. 7:45am turned into 8:15am and then two other 4somes showed up at the same hole 5. Not only did we have to wait for the other groups at the same hole, but we only got to play holes 5-18 and wasn’t even offered a partial refund, which I think should be offered in these circumstances.
Par 3 course
This is an 18 hole par 3 course. Took my 9 year old grandson. We had a great time. The gentlemen ahead of us took time to talk to my grandson to encourage home and gave him great advise ( thank you ). Nice course for beginners. Or to practice your short game. Great online price with cart.
