Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Pine Glen
About
Situated just outside of downtown San Diego, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses as well as Pine Glen, an 18-hole, par-3 course. It may not have the same championship status as the other golf courses but its beautiful landscape of mature sycamores, towering oaks, and natural rock outcroppings is anything but run-of-the-mill. The course relies heavily on the natural hazards provided by the mountainous terrain but bunkers have been strategically placed along the rolling, well manicured greens for added challenge. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides great practice for more advanced players looking to work on their short game or just squeeze in a quick, casual round. In addition to the three very different courses, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan offers extensive practice facilities that include a grass driving range, a short game area with a sand bunker, and multiple practice greens.

Not what it used to be
This par 3 course used to be know for the excellent greens and overall good course conditions. Unfortunately, The condition of the course is now just poor to average with the greens being extremely poor.
Price point
Pros - Good price for 18 hole Golf + Cart - under $20.
Cons - Greens were the slowest, which made the scorecard a struggle. Fairways are not really existent as there are many weeds & overgrown areas. If you can hit greens In regulation from the tee box you can make a good score, if not, it can quickly become a rough day on course.
Good Value
Pros - Hot deal with a cart is a great price point. The distances for the front 9 specifically are a good challenge. Feels like a much shorter back 9. Cons - The greens are extremely slow and tough to play. If you don’t hit them, the fairways are patchy.
Very poor
Slow greens ( extremely), not maintaining like the other 18’s. Tee boxes not mown , long grass or bare .
No excuses for what golf courses charge now!
Great Value!
There are a few spots on the greens that could use some work, but for the price it was absolutely incredible! Hot during the day, but was the perfect temperature when we teed off at 4:45.
Excellent
The tee time spacing was perfect. Everyone friendly. COVID cleaning complete felt comfortable. Great job Sequan
Friendly office staff???
I would hope perhaps she was having a bad morning.
Good par 3 for the money
Greens a little slow but in good condition. Good value to work on short game. I’ll play again
slow greens
I suspect they are anticipating hot weather, the greens were extremely slow. it was like putting on carpets. several fairways were bare, tee boxes were dry and no grass
