About
Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The heathlands layout feels like a links course with wind being an important factor and thick fescue coming into play. The golf course starts with an especially tough front nine but there are more scoring opportunities on the back. Mounded bunkers and moguls define the movement of the fairways and though there aren't many trees, if you don't keep your shots straight you might find yourself out-of-bounds or lost in the high, wiry grass. Sidehill lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Wyncote's greens have little undulation but the lightning fast putting surfaces are a challenge for players of all skill levels. With a few "grip it and rip it" holes mixed in, Wyncote Golf Club is a tough but fair test.

LONG DAY
very disappointing 5 hour round… second time I’ve played here, course is beautiful but no one patrolling slow play…. I guess with the greedy 8 minute tee times, slow play should be expected…. They likely lost a customer today who would play here frequently and will not get a recommendation from me.
Great course but a little slow
I love this course and it is in great condition, but eight minute tee time intervals make for a slow round.
Tee time issue
For some reason when we arrived at the course on September 18th at 7:50 to check in I was told I did not have a tee time. I had a confirmation number but both the club house and the starter were confused. They did get us out as a twosome but we were behind a foursome and until the 5th hole when they let us play through. $100 to play with confusion having to wait then having to rush to get by the group was a not the ideal way to start the round.

Always in very good condition. Wide fairways but very penal otherwise. Greens quite slick.
Great Shape
With all the rain this past month. Very good condition. Greens are quick and roll true. No plugged balls at all in fairways.

Cloudy day, fast pace of layers and perfect conditions, even with all the rain lately, course drians well and was in top condition
Today’s round
As expected, course was in phenomenal condition, which is always the most important. Pace was great and everyone you came in contact with were great. Bad point (if you can call it that) was no cart service on the course. Great day!!
Wyncote Golf Course Pennsylvania Was What It Was
Beautiful course and nice track. Cart path only because of rain and all of the bunkers were over flowing with standing water. Will definitely play again in better condition and increase assessment scores as appropriate. Overall Wyncote is good2go for play and extremely well recommended for fellow patron recommendations and future personal replays!
Worth the drive!
Tee boxes, fairways, rough, bunkers, and greens were all in excellent condition. My brother and I will definitely be back.

I have played it over 100 times and i have never been disappointed. AND I BELONG TO TO TWO PRIVATE COURSES !! I play here on mondays when my courses are closed.. The fairway and tee box turf is in great playing conditions , and the greens are perfectly smooth and pace is very good. Not private course fast , although anyone that compares them to other public facilities , will feel like they're fast.
DISCLOSURE: I RATED VALUE A 3 STAR only because the pre covid round was a33% less than what the current prices are. But compared to ANY course on GOLF NOW ,
WYNCOTE is a 5 STAR VALUE.
