The Lakes at El Segundo

Short, fun with a sense of humor (see signs on course)

Multiple holes were almost unplayable due to masked off playing areas.. Plus, the greens had all been sanded and the service vehicles left tracks.

The Lakes is a great place to kerp my skills sharp and satisfy my need to play golf especially since Its hard to find full length courses near El Segundo. This is my second time playing 10 holes of par 3 before sunrise and before work. I plan to do this every time i visit the south bay.

Have played this course many times before and after Top Golf. I thought they did a nice job with some changes, but they nearly doubled the price. If in great condition, it is still fun if not a good value. Played today and several tee boxes were being redone, shortening several already short holes including the only hole more than 120 yards. They were cutting down a tree and doing work on others. On the last hole, the video feature was disabled. When I expressed my disappointment with the staff, they said “all courses re-do tee boxes” (but it seems like they sometimes lower the price when they do so).

It was my Son's 30th birthday! We had an amazing timr celebrating his day on the course! The top tracker was the best part, having a video of our final shots!

Fun small course that can be played with just a few clubs. No woods or driver needed. Very short holes.

Fun little pitch and putt. You could really get by with just a wedge and a putter. Greens were bumpy, but good enough to play on. Love the short game area. Will play again.

Very fun course. Took just over an hour to play the 10 holes. Pretty good shape and value. I would play again.

Dont come here if you’re looking for anything remotely close to a real golf experience. This is fun for corporate events that involve lots of drinking or family fun. Other than that, TopGolf (who owns this course) makes a mockery of the real sport. Some holes are literally a pitch shot. Music blasting. People don’t know what they're doing. Kind of a shtshow.. and not cheap either.

I had wrapped up my workday early and was looking at lunch options when I came across the website, so I a whim I booked and went. Great and friendly service, comp club rental and even one of the staff pulled tees from his car. Great service and value and decent challenge for par three course. I would do it again next time.

Of course I miss the par 4 holes, but they did a great job renovating the entire property. Just played the newly redone course and it was a great experience. The staff was awesome. It was a Monday morning, so I’m sure that the weekends are a bit busier. I’ll see you out there.

Great for practicing short irons, wedges, chipping and putting, very laid back and lots of fun, great course conditions too!
