I say congratulations instead of thanking you because isn't easy to have such great people working together.

The entire staff was great. James, told us everything we needed to know and more. Can’t wait to play this course again. From the fairways to the greens, everything was top notch.

Great layout. Played longer than what I expected. Plenty of punishment for errant approaches. Watch where your ball enters the thick rough! I lost a couple balls that I should’ve been able to play without penalty. Friendly staff. Informative starter. A course you’ll want to play twice if you haven’t seen it before.

The course was in decent shape. The staff was one of the beat I've ever encountered. They were all reasonably friendly and courteous.

The only problem I had was a member group who wouldn't let me play through them when they held me up on every hole. Outside of that...a very enjoyable experience.

I took my dad here for a Father's Day trip. We definitely had fun playing another Jack Nicklaus course. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, from the guy who was ready to setup a cart for us, to the pro shop attendee and the starter. It was a pretty hot day, but there's plenty of drinking water, the cart girl came by several times and there's a little canteen (for lack of a better word) at the turn if you're looking for sandwiches and whatnot. So overall, the service and amenities were great.

The driving range wasn't really setup specifically for different ball play, so you're mostly hitting out of pretty thick grass instead of a mat or short grass. Tee boxes were in good condition, no complaints there, really. The fairways were pretty thick, but what was disappointing were all the groundskeepers working on them in the middle of the day. We even had a guy just cutting the grass right in front of us on one hole, wouldn't wait for us to play through. The greens played ok, but could use some work too.

Overall, I just felt like the condition of the course didn't really meet what you pay for. I'm no scratch golfer, but I've played plenty over the years and felt like we were paying a premium simply for it being a Nicklaus course. I'm glad we played, but would probably only consider doing it again at a discount rate or some kind of specialty rate.

Well kept greens friendly staff

Course layout was very fun to play. We played in the middle of summer so it was very hot. Other than it being 100 degrees we had a great time. Some bunkers could use some new sand and the fringe on a few of the greens was a little rough. The greens were in great shape, and the fairways were super nice! Overall good experience at English Turn.

Great course, super friendly staff. They were very accommodating and everything was top notch. My friends and I will definitely be coming back.

I played TPC Louisiana the day before and enjoyed English Turn more. The variety of strategic, penal, and heroic holes, and the balanced order in which they’re placed, make this course a joy to play. The conditioning is decent - nothing to boast about, but certainly good enough. But the star of the show is the design by Nicklaus. Very fun course that requires careful consideration to score well and extremely playable, for all levels of golfer. Highly recommended.

Cody (or Cory, can’t remember) pulled up to the car as soon as we pulled in and immediately got us loaded up. James (our starter) was amazing and full of helpful advice. Ebony took great care of us at the bar. Will definitely make a return trip to the Turn.

Mike in the pro shop took great care of us, and Mr. James the starter went above and beyond in his course briefing, to include taking family photos that will stay with us for years to come. Thanks for making it a wonderful Saturday for us all!

I got rained out in the morning but was able to get on in the afternoon. James gave me the tips to avoid the unseen hazards from the teebox on a first play through. It was quiet and peaceful with a nice open feel. Water in play on every hole but never too daunting. I really enjoyed playing here. I hope to be back to NOLA to play again.
