About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Eagles Nest has a wonderful layout for the price.
Loved the layout. Just long enough from the whites for me. However five tee off choices so you can really challenge yourself. Greens were not in great shape but puttable..just enough water.
Bunkers were not very well maintained..
Very convenient to oakatie area.
Saw a gator eat a fish and made a friend. Nice.

Worst course of 3 we played this weekend
Tee boxes are lumpy and uneven. Fairways are decent and wide, but weedy in places. Greens are hard and unkept.
Not surprising it was the least expensive course we played in the last 3 days. Not shocked that they are offering an unlimited membership for only $1000.00

Not what I expected
Layout ok. Played here when first opened. Thought I’d try again. Many greens not in good condition. Tee boxes poor and many traps were overgrown. I am a bit of a hacker so guess it was ok for me

Needs attention
What I found out is that the owner wants to sell and has neglected to keep up with the maintenance of the course. The fairways are in good condition but the rest of the course has been neglected. The bunkers have weeds growing in them and needs to add more sand. The greens are very patched and will not give you a true roll.. I was disappointed being so close to Hilton Head to find a course in bad shape.

Called Low Country for good reason
February is off season and the conditions were also off. Invasive grass grows, dormant not so much. Greens should be mowed everyday to minimize the high bumps from the growing invasive. Area received rain a couple of days prior closing the back nine (cart path only). I haves snow in my yard back home, so as somebody said anything is better than nothing..

Greens and bunkers need WORK

Just needs upkeep for the greens
Nice layout but greens were very rough. Bare and painted in areas. It’s February I get it but it’s also 80 degrees so there should be a chance for the grass to come in.

Early Spring Conditions.
Love Eagle's Pointe. Alway get a good deal on TeeOff. Conditions are okay, but it is early days yet. A little heat and the greens will be right back! Great staff!

it was a great day! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious ! It was our first game of the season so our golf score was not great but we had fun!

Off island course
The course is in good condition, fairways are greening up nicely. Still a little wet in spots but very playable.

Good value for the cost
Course was in playable condition but nothing special. Good value for the money. Pace of play was good and staff was very friendly.

Wet course always
Price was right with a hot deal on GolfNow However it had not rained for over a week and course was soggy. Back nine was cart path only. Staff was good and professional but 2 people were trying to run everything. Way understaffed. Greens were still fast. But have some weed growth in them. Bunkers were mostly neglected with water standing in them. Overall course is just not up to standards for the Hilton head area.

Needs maintenance
The staff was friendly and professional. This is a big plus. The course was tired and needed a lot of work. It could be that it was mid February and that they hadn't started their work yet. But the traps had many places where the sand had washed away from all around the edges. They were also as hard as rocks. I know that sand trap maintenance is expensive, but they are an integral part of a course. The grass/weeds around the lakes needed to be trimmed and in many cases the lakes needed to be totally cleaned out. The layout is good. I would wait several weeks to play it in the hope that their staff starts working and cleans up the place.

Grouchy uncle chuck
Very friendly staff, checking in was a breeze, even took the cart to pickup the clubs.
First hole the green was a little beat up but by the second was a lot better and from then on just fine.
They had had a lot of rain just prior to us playing, but for the price it is a no brainer.

Very wet
Lots of mud. Cart path only. Standing water lots of places. Would be ok if not so wet. Greens need a lot of work.
