The course was challenging but yet forgiving.

The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great track, breezy (good thing) compared to many on island courses, fair but forgiving. Wish the greens had been faster, a bit sandy. Staff super friendly💪

I've played Old South a couple of times, but had forgotten some holes. There are 2 holes, 1 on each 9, that are basically 90 degree dog legs with strange landing areas that are very deceptive from the tee. No one in our 3 some liked those layouts. The rest of the course is quite good, though the greens still showed the effects of somewhat recent aeration.

Good solid layout with variety of holes. Most holes user friendly with wide fairways. Greens had been aerated (we were aware) , and while still a bit bumpy, not bad. Fairways and traps in very good shape. Tees need some work and some of the greens had some bad spots. Good pace of play with no waiting . Would definitely recommend, especially once the greens heal up.

Greens recently airiated made putts drift. Didn’t finish due to weather.

Great golf course. Interesting holes throughout and you need to make your shots here. Greens still recovering from aeration, but not too bad. Nice golf shop and little restaurant was excellent with many nice choices! Good prices all around. Will be back.

Very enjoyable track. Some unique holes, playable at every level. Greens were punched and the course was very wet from 2 days of rain so it was cart path only. Otherwise I would’ve given it a 5 star rating. Don’t waste your money on courses on the Island like the 2 Westin courses. This course blows them away.

There was a wait every hole. I got an old golf cart that did not have GPS. The tee boxes looked like there was a rugby game on them, the Greens were just aerated which they should have mentioned. Waited 15 min each hole.. unacceptable. Cart path only is awful on this course.

Very well manicured & taken care of course. Holes challenging enough to use almost every club in the bag. Definitely recommend.

Best fairways of any course in Hilton Head. Generous fairways to small greens. Fun layout with several interesting holes. A must play for us every yr.

Play here every year on vacation. Love the course & layout. Nice mix of layup & driver holes. 2 holes forced carry off the tee & approach—1 on front & 1 on back. Greens in good shape just running kind of slow, which seems to be most courses right now in talking to the locals. Will plan to be back next year per usual.

I found this place to be in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and the layout was challenging but fair. There were a few tee boxes that needed some attention but the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. I would recommend this and definitely would play it again!

Great conditions fast but true greens. Will definitely play here again.

Course was in good shape and well maintained. Food and beverage prices are very very reasonable. Starter very friendly and knowledgeable… a little pricy for the golf but I enjoyed the layout .
