Dos Osos Golf Club

I’ve played this course a handful of times over the last 2 years and I have never seen the greens in this good of shape. Fairways are in good condition and a few of the tee boxes need a little attention. Got out early and played 18 in 3 and a half hours.

TROON GOLF - that is what the signs in the club house said but maybe they are new signs, 'cause looking at the course says otherwise. Not long and interesting looks from the blue tees, but the lack of grass on the fairways just make the whole trip meh: start not to care 'cause of the run out on the fairway plus the practice green is way faster the the rest. Doubt I'll go back without a real deal, PLUS - you will not find the place without GPS- there are no signs directing you to the entrance OR through the GATE!

Full boycott. This place plain sucks, don’t waste your time or money. Conditions are like Boulder Oaks or Castle Creek, fairways are dirt and gopher holes. Avoid at all costs.

Eagle Crest is a challenging golf course! Jerry, Ron, Jason, Rowan and Matt are all great! The service, atmosphere, and feel fits like an old golf glove. Like an old friend! Glenn, course superintendent and Taro General Manager are challenged to keep this course a gem. Limited resources, carts, water pumps, etc... they worked tirelessly through Covid, and now with the heat of summer approaching have an uphill battle to keep lipstick on this Old Friend.

Really awful course all around , will not spend my money here again

This course has so much potential, with alittle watering and fertilization it would definitely be up there with some of the best in San Diego. Even with the flaws Eagle Crest has very friendly staff and provides an amazing playing experience for an unbeatable price.

For the low cost, we can put-up with the many fairway bare-spots.

Ive been playing a lot of courses around SD lately and this is by far the worst.

Tee boxes were either thick grass or dirt. Fairways had minimal grass and patches of dirt. Long course and good hole layouts but everything else was just bad. Greens were so so, looked like they were punched months ago and grass never healed. Wanted to like this course but dont waste your time.

Would have been nice to get cart earlier to get clubs from car and get to driving range area. Fair ways poor. Greens just OK. Course is narrow, so not for beginners or golfers who spray the ball. I liked the lay out and would play again, but after fairways heal

There are a lot of direct and not maintenance fairways, so only because we got this on a deep discount was it okay. The fairways were not green mostly full of dirt and bad grass.

I thought that the layout of the course was scenic and challenging. Unfortunately, the condition of the fairways, tee boxes and greens were substandard. With some work, this could be a beautiful course.
