About
Dos Osos Golf Club(formerly known as Eagle Crest Golf Club) is routed through the scenic San Pasqual Valley. Its secluded location and challenging layout have made Dos Osos one of San Diego's best-kept secrets. The beautiful layout incorporates cascading waterfalls and eight lakes along with colorful wildflowers and rolling green hills. The diverse golf course is a shot maker's layout that is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It measures to a manageable 6,417 yards, but it still offers plenty of challenges. In addition to the water hazards, pristine white sand bunkers add a stark contrast to the lush greens. The golf course is narrow, especially on the front nine, which is tighter and has more tree-lined fairways. The bank nine opens up much more. Dos Osos Golf Club rewards accuracy and thoughtful strategy but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

This course is a nightmare. I should receive a refund. The greens were tore up the sand traps were dirt in the fairways were dirt.

Good Course, fairways a little rough
Good course, plenty of chances to hit long off the tee and fairway. Greens in great shape, fairways were a little sparse and bunkers were hardback.

Challenging, but fair.
Keep the ball in play or you will be punished--sometimes lightly, sometimes severely. Staff was courteous and friendly, practice green was in good condition. Fairways had issues and some of the greens looked like they were part of the driving range. I enjoyed the round, but conditions were not very good.

Needs a little help
The greens were pretty good, but players need to fix their ball marks, but rolled consistently all day, tee boxes need to be leveled out., plenty of areas with no grass and several varmit holes. Good layout and somewhat challenging from the blue tees. I’d play again. Very food value.

Not bad at all
The overall value for this course is pretty good. Corse wasnt in the best of shape as there were lots of dry spots. Greens on the front 9 were significantly worse than the back 9...i guess thats expected?? Pace of play on weekdays was great. I played by myself and got done in 2.5 hours w/cart. Ill likely come back if i want to play a quick round.

Fun course tucked away off the beaten path. Fairways a little rough in some areas, but not a deal breaker. Will most likely play again.

Picture Update Required
Let’s just say that the pictures were obviously taken when they were still maintaining the course. I’m pretty sure I hit more off of dirt in the fairway than grass. I use Golfnow to help me find courses I’ve never played before and utilize the pictures that are provided to help gauge whether I want to play there for the first time or not. These pictures were very misleading. I won’t be back
