Dos Osos Golf Club

For the money, you can beat this layout thorugh raw California ranchland.. Just more money, and their would be more grass. Greens good, fast and interesting. And since it is not popular able to play very fast. Great beer and hot dogs in the golf shop.

This course was great. The people were knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was fun, a lot of people having a good time. The course was really green and I had a good piece of advice from the guy who checked me in. Jerry was his name. I'll definitely be back to Eagle Crest. Thank you Jerry for your help and making this place great.

I am new to the Area I've heard what a golfers paradise San Diego is, Found this course on Golf now. The course staff was great and friendly I was paired up with some locals.

I must say the Billy Casper managment lacks vision and money. This could be a true gem of a course, the design is wonderful with all you need to have challenging golf. Unfortunately they cling to the drought thing to hard. They need to seed and fetch the fairways. I must say the greens were stellar and nice. But to much dead grass in the middle of fairways. I would consider playing again and hopefully they spend some $$$ on seed in the fairways. Respectfully net 10.2 golfer.

Played this course no less than 100 times since before there were even Homes on the golf course. It has never looked as dry as it has EVER. Many spots that should be grass( in the fairway ) were dry or just simply dirt. Very disappointing as this use to be a regular go to course I’m north county. Got less than 9 holes in before the rain started pouring on our group. Made it back to the clubhouse and they said absolutely No RAIN CHECK. You would think that they would want more people to come out and patronize them and the clubhouse services and lunch and make money off of the patrons from beer sales sandwiches and let them come out and play and mention how the staff hooked them up but I wouldn’t be surprised if this course doesn’t make it much longer. No one likes playing out of dirt from the fairway and the customer service could use some help. Also they have the entire lot roped off so you can’t drive your cart to your car and unload or load you clubs before the round. Golf is taxing and the last thing I wanna do is spend extra energy carrying my heavy bag

Tee to green mostly dirt. Some holes 10-20 yards to find grass ( weed) to play off. Greens were all good Shape . Not worth the golf now deal $24 .

Teeboxes are in terrible shape as are fairways. Greens seem to be only thing maintained

Fairways need some serious help. They were so dry that fairways were running very hot. Greens ran smooth and the layout is enjoyable. Pace of play was the best I’ve ever seen. Played as twosome and completed 18 in 3 hrs.

I was very disappointed that there was no good golf course management. It is disappointment to get a player like this condition.

If you like playing on dirt patches . If it wasn't for golf now discount, would have been really oissed about spending money on this course. Have fun getting through the gates.

Over the years I played at this golf course but every the course is getting worse I think I m done .

Best thing about this course was the staff. Super friendly and accommodating. Being that the course was not in good shape. A not insignificant about of the time I wasn't sure if I was in fairway or rough in a place that ideally would be fairway. Tons of dead areas all around the course. Greens had a lot of ball marks not repaired. Layout wasn't bad and the scenery was pretty good but overall the actual golf course left much to be desired. Unlikely to play again.

I really like this course. I was warned that there are lots of bees, I have yet to experience that. I love the layout, and the many obstacles/hazards. I truly have fun every time I play here.
