the staff at eagle crest are very nice and do a good job considering there's only a few of them. the greens were very good, the bunkers hard and the fairways spotty. for a good price play it. the layout is really good, the course doesn't seem to get enough play to maintain it at a higher level. if you're willing to bump your ball to some grass in the fairways, you'll be ok.

Fairways are not too bad also... Some edges are a little rough and thick but playable.

This might have been nice at one time, but it has not been well maintained. If you get off the fairway at all, you’re likely to be in grass/weeds of many varying lengths. Didn’t look mowed at all. No signage so course was difficult to find.

The course is in nice shape and well maintained, the greens are very nice, and the fairways overall are good. With the rains there are a few areas that are still wet and the rough needs a bit of work. Staff was friendly and helpful and pace of play excellent.

Starter/staff person in clubhouse not friendly; treats "golfnow hot deal" customers as second rate; does not allow golfers to go out earlier even if the course is practically empty; even lies about the opposite; lets 2somes out and tee times to be stacked so the pace of play becomes very slow; no marshals or common sense etiquette by slow players to let groups go ahead of them.

Please have a common sense for faster pace of play so that golf is enjoyable!

The greens were really nice. Best I’ve seen in awhile. Pace of play was excellent and the price you can’t beat. I hope I can come back soon.

Excellent green condition! Fairways okay as expected for winter time. Starter was friendly and let you out early if not busy once able to be paired with another single. Way to speed up pace of play! Would definitely come back and recommend this course.

The course was a bit muddy. Apparently the rain the last few weeks took it's toll. The greens were in good shape. Running true. We played with a veteran player at the club and his guidance was very helpful. We would play this course again. It was a good course and a good value.

Good greens that role true and nice fairways, just ok tee box, probably coz there's too many players. Friendly staff got us teed early as they run out of carts with people waiting and we were walking.... 4 1/2 hours for our round even with 4 some in every hole... They're trying to bring this course back to 1 of the best in North of San Diego.

This was a fun play! And a great value for the money. The layout is interesting offering some holes that make you think, and other ones that demand you grip and rip! The greens had a few spots toward the edges that may have gotten a fungus and were clearly recovering, but 99.9% of the green surface was in fabulous shape and free of pitchmarks. The fairways could use some work though, they are patchy in areas and I was happy that we were playing clean and place due to the recent rain. Overall the course was a great value and I'd happily play again.

Friendly staff. Always enjoy playing here. Some of the amenities can get a little help. The pro shop has improved quite a bit.

Played here for the first time, they were out of range balls, and the fairways were in bad shape. Greens were ok. Layout was good, fun course, needs some care and maintenance.

The course has an enjoyable layout. The greens were in excellent condition and the fairways are coming along. The staff was friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful.

We have played this course several times when visiting the area. They layout of the course is intriguing; there are a few easy holes, and many challenging holes; some long ones and some short ones. If your group has a mix of handicaps, it is a course that all levels can enjoy.

The course sits in the midst of trees, boulders, and natural foliage, and the 18 holes meander through tunnels and various levels.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they get you on the 1st tee on time!

We usually get a good deal through Golf Now but would play it even if we booked directly.

Layout is very clever. Greens are every bit as good as any in San Diego.

Great round today at Eagle Crest! It was a little rainy, course was decent and greens were good! Staff was friendly and welcoming. I will golf here again!
