Indian Springs Golf Club

The course is usually in excellent condition but today the greens were not as manicured as usual. I suppose it is because of the extreme heat. I will return as often as possible because it is fun, not extremely difficult, but has its challenges.

Love this course! They are plugging the course for reseeding (played on 7/22) so a couple of holes were all plugged, but it's a great value and fun course. The pub/restaurant is fun too with a super friendly staff. Will definitely go back!

Fun and enjoyable course. Could be called (relatively) easy, and average length with appropriate bunkering (and some water) keep golfers thinking and having to make shots. Some nice longer length par 3s (for a change). The condition of both fairways and greens was excellent, but the tee boxes could use some mowing. Highly recommend this course for a fun day out.

Nwell maintained, open fairways, not ovely difficult but still some challenge.

Wow I must say for a public course it deserves to be considered private course!!! The staff is perfect, friendly, and on point. Helped me with the bags made sure i had plenty of ice and water and also cleaned my clubs off for me at the end of the round and also helped me load the bags into the car!!! WOW!! I definitely gave a generous tip because it was so amazing. I Will definitely be coming back next time I want to feel like a member. 10/10

Course was in great condition and the greens ran smooth and true.

Indian Springs AKA Big Rock is Just fun. Fun golf. Fun dining.

I like they have to go hot dogs, pizza, bevs & snacks in pro shop. Water stations abundant. Course in really good shape. Great pace.

Rode the Blues (6197/69.9/122) twilight as a single. Less than 2.5H POP, the course was not busy. Sunny and breezy around 95.

Fun to play layout in good condition with 18 solid holes of golf. Good mixture of holes with few forced carries. Often one of the better values in the greater Palm Springs area.

Tees mostly lush, level and decently maintained for divots.

Fairways lush and good to play from.

Rough a mixture of grasses with decent coverage mowed low. Even though not much taller, noticeably different lies from barely in the fairway to barely in the rough.

Sand traps decently maintained and freshly raked. Some could use more sand.

Large greens putted smooth and medium fast. Firm, no one is consistently backing up balls on these greens. Few ball marks because of their firmness.

Customer service excellent from everyone encountered. Upgraded carts equipped with Shark Experience GPS. No on course drink cart here, but they provide a full ice chest and drink cups. Recommended.

Rode the Blacks (6642/71.9/127) on a GN Hot Deal mid day as a single. 2.5H POP, only saw a couple of other 2somes. Sunny and calm around 95.

Tees were lush, level and well maintained with few divots.

Fairways were lush and nice to play from.

Rough is a thinner mixture of grasses with decent coverage. Not tall but can be penal because the lies will vary so much.

Sand traps were decently maintained, a few could use more sand. They have rakes again.

Greens were smooth and putted medium fast. Firm, so even well struck irons would release. Few ball marks because of their firmness.

Fairly wide open course with a good mixture of holes. Few forced carries other than several holes with lakes. This would be a challenging course to walk because numerous tees are a hike from the last green because the course is split up between multiple different residential complexes. All grass driving range is in the wash beside hole 9, where they also have a practice chipping green. Could use more water stations on the course, but they provide a stocked ice chest.

The customer service is always excellent from everyone encountered. Upgraded carts equipped with Shark Experience GPS. Joe with the carts is always great, and the Pro Shop check in was friendly and efficient. I was running late, called ahead and was advised no problem. Rarely an on course drink cart here. Nice layout in good condition with 18 solid holes of golf. IMO, one of the better values in the greater Palm Springs area. Recommended.
