Indian Springs Golf Club

I’ve played this course a lot and the conditions are always pretty good. The greens had a solid tine punch a few weeks ago but the speed is good and they are not bumpy they just wiggle offline a bit as the winter grass is finally choking out. The course has short par 5s except 18 and long par 3s except 14. The par 4s are relatively short and with a good tee shot you can hit wedges into the greens all day. There is OB on every hole but generously wide tee shots give you room to spray it a bit. The rough is not a concern and in the winter it is dormant so as long as you are not behind one of a few trees getting to the green is simple.

Played here on a whim and loved every min of it.

The course was in great shape tee to green. It was challenging but fair. And the staff was beyond helpful.

They also have a great looking restaurant which I didn’t eat at but got an after round drink at.

Always in great condition whenever I play this course . The greens are always in excellent condition and the fairways as well . The condition and layout of the course really make it a fun experience . Of course I’ll be back as it’s my home course when I’m in town ..

We have been coming to this area annually for many years for our Buddy Trip.

This course is always a must when I schedule our 5 rounds.

I brought the Chief of the Paiute Courses in Las Vegas a few years ago and he loved it.

I had an enjoyable time playing at Big Rock. Both the fairways and greens were in great condition. The Pro Shop staff was amazing. This course was fun to play.

This was my first time playing this course and it was very nice with wide fairways and breath taking views of the mountains and lakes on the course. It was very maintained and even the greens were a little fast and not damaged by multiple divot marks.

Starting from hole 1 I was playing by myself following another onesome. We both played about the same place and passed a few couples on hole 3 and 4. We kept pace and finished in 2 hours and 20 mins not running in to another player.

My wife and I played in the afternoon, which is the best time to play in Palm Springs if you can accept the +30C degree temperature. We played in 3.5 hours, not rushing and had lunch ready for us at the turn (great burgers!!).

The course is in good condition. The greens were smooth.

I would play here again!

Played last round in the desert. Course was in great condition. Greens were smooth and fast. Fairways are wide. Course is forgiving and can be scored on. Lots of birdie holes.

Big Rock had few surprises for our first time playing. A rather easy course to play.
