PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course

I loved the dunes design. Pete dye greens were hard to read.

I’m not a big fan of dunes courses so I wouldn’t expect I’d be in love with either.

Lots of fairway areas need work which could make this a more beautiful course.

Pace of play was perfect. For a challenging course, we played in 4 hours. We will definitely be back.

Course was short, but very difficult for short game. Weeds growing off fairways were instant lost ball. Also alot of sand and water hazards. Course was not in great shape, looked like a Muni course.

Getting a friendlier beer cart person would go a long way. She was quite rude and made me feel like she had better things to do than her job.

First time playing here and will definitely be back. I played the Dunes course and would love to play the Mountain course next time. Less than adequate water and ice on the Dunes course...it was HOT! A lot of water hazards but play smart and avoid that...and the sand bunkers!

Bring some extra balls as you can lose rhem here! Other than the fact that there is only one bathroom in the course and the beverage cart was nonexistent during the round, this was a nice course to play and in lush conditions, with challenging, elevated greens.
