Les Greens sont impeccables
Session de golf mémorable avec des greens superbement entretenus. Paysage magnifique avec vue sur les montagnes enneigés. A consommer sans modération .
Slowest Round I Ever Played
This was by far the slowest round I have ever played. 2:45 for front nine (and that's the flat nine) and 2:50 for the back (Stonehouse) at a primetime 7:45 am tee time you think it would move along. Marshall was no help in speeding up play. Might give it another try as the course is in fairly good shape but this experience was awful.
outstanding facilities
first time playing two of the 3, 9 hole layouts that Ted Robinson touched....if you have played his courses in the past, this has all the signatures of Ted.
Beautifully laid out, wide fairways with bunkers just enough to keep your head in the game. Although there were 3 of us, with one dropping out after 9, we concluded the back nine..Creek course I believe, with no one ahead or behind until the 14 hole, when the foursome ahead of us finally decided to have a long driving contest...no one won, they all were in the rough..lol
The more difficult course Stonehouse apparently is the more difficuilt, which I shall encounter the next time. There definately will be one too! Great facilities....worth the price and drive if you have to travel.,
What an enjoyable course.
This golf course is always in great condition, and the layout is really friendly but also challenging. Truly a gem for the money.
slow moving
decent course but marshalls dont move pace along-way too slow
Great day of golf
Course was in great shape with a great staff. Beautiful day for golf. Played Creek and Oaks and found it challenging but not too rough.
Great Round
The course was in great condition for this time of year. The staff was awesome and the price was reasonable. Looking forward to the next round, and hopefully lower scores....
Can Do Better
We got a very good first impression driving into the property but were disappointed for the most part after that. Play started out slow and never improved; a 5 hour round. While the greens were in very good shape (and very quick) the fairways were quite stressed and spotty. We played the Creek 9, which was pleasant and not too challenging, and the Oaks 9, which was more interesting/challenging. The snack bar was awkward with limited choices. The upstairs restaurant had just completed a major makeover and looked good with a great view. Our playing partners recommended the food, but we didn't have a chance to try it out.
The course is VERY VERY SLOW
I have played this course multiple times and it has always been slow. But today, it has never been as slow as it was today. If in fact they have marshalls, they are not doing their jobs.
Great sceneries and we'll manicured lawns.
Overall great experience. Challenging par fives. A half way point from Rancho Cucamonga to San Diego. Met my son and we enjoyed a great day playing golf. The course is a hidden tresure.
Overall nice course
Overall nice course. A bit wet in parts and it hasn't been raining, but played fairly quick round. Greens on Creek were very nice and consistent...Rolling quick (I'd say 10or11). However greens on Oaks were not as nice. Much slower and inconsistent. To compare to other JC courses hat cost about the same, I'd say Twin Oaks or RB Inn offer an over all better golf round for roughly the same price.
people will like this course
Nice layout, lot of trees. I'll come back soon on next Wed and Thu.
Oaks to Stone
The course is great! I played Oaks to Stonehouse. Oaks is definitely the better of the two. I will definitely play there again. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Pace was great!
Player friendly course featuring 27 holes.
Nice layout for 27 holes. Each of the nines we played was interesting and different. Very playable and fun course. fairways and greens were in good condition.
Good value for the money.
Very nice course
The course was really well laid out. Some good elevation changes and challenging dog legs. A couple holes were a little disconcerting as they are backed up to part of the inn or parking lot. If anything you get a captive audience of people watching you from their balcony. The greens are in great shape and some of the fairways had really great grass. As if you were on a practice mat at your driving range.
We'll be back
Had an awesome day. The course was in great shape, greens were very fast and had a very thin strip of grass as a top layer. Otherwise a great course. The only issue was that if you plan on drinking "Anything" water, gatoraid, soda, or even beer you'd better get it at the pro shop. We did not see the cart girl/guy once while playing 18 holes. Regardless we will be back.
Temecula Creek, Creek & Stone House
The Creek 9 is very resort friendly.. There is enough length and challenge for the big hitters but enjoyable to the short hitter and women from the forward tees, high handicapper friendly. Not sure where they got the name "Creek" for this nine, water only came into play on one hole.
The Stone House 9 is much more challenging with a lot of blind shots, elevation changes and tight landing areas. A premium is placed on getting your drive in play and knowing where to hit it. Need to play this nine more then once to get to know your way around the course. Not a nine I would recommend for women or a high handicapper. A lot of freeway noise on this nine.
All the greens were very soft, bumpy and slow. I would have expected firmer conditions for a Southern California golf course under drought conditions. The entire course was soft.
The carts are reaching the end of their life or at least the batteries. Our first cart started slowing down on the 6th hole and by the 7th it was dead and had to be towed in. And all they said was "sorry". Thankfully the guys we played with were good sports but it did effect our play because now we had to rush to catch up with the pace of play.. Also the carts were not cleaned properly and looked tired. Several other people had problems with their carts as well.
A little on the spendy side for what you get but the setting is very nice.
TCI
Great time once again. This is a fantastic course. The only bad part was we bought Creek Oaks, but Oaks was closed and we didn't find out until we arrived. So we played Stonehouse instead.
TCI a good track
TCI was a good course. I liked the layout but the greens were bumpy from un repaired ball marks. This can be fixed and when it is this course will be all 5s with me.
Very Nice Resort Course
Very nice course and nice resort. Very comfortable facility all the way around. Best greens I've played in SoCal. Got lucky with great pairing on first tee. Two knowledgeable players that played well and knew lines of play. Creek / Oaks getting ready to host Cal Amateur event. StoneHouse fun and beautiful but trickier.
