TCI on a Thursday
Showed up expecting to play Creeks and Oaks and push for a short 9 hole outing. Eneded up having to start on Stonehouse which is a tough course to walk/push. Eneded up needing a catr which is no big deal, but note when booking thgrough Golf Now that you're only booking your greens fee and at TCI you'll pay extrat for a cart. Also, note that when booking through Golf now, TCI squeezes in an extra tee time at a 5 minutye interval. The pace of play was terrible and there was a minimum of 3, sometimes 4 groups on the same hole. This might be expected on a weekend, but mid week you'd hope for a bit more sanity. Bottom line, saving a few sheckels on GolfNow isn't always worth sacrificing quality of play.
Great experience
I played this course many times over the years. It is always a good condition and the three nines are like playing three separate golf courses. I am glad that they changed number one on Stonehouse to a par four. For the money one of the best values in cal
Pace was great, greens were very slow
Title says it all the greens on the creek course we're unbelievabley slow. You had to "swing" your putter on 10' putts.
Golf Now got us to play this course
I found a Hot Deal on GN and used it to play TCGC. We had not played this course in years, and was looking forward to it, then front desk personnel said that I need to pay a "cart fee", luckily I had brought the GN invoice that said "$0 due at course".
Course was laid out nicely, as built into the hilly area of the Temecula hills. Fun to play and almost got a hole in one on a short par 3!
Great Deal for a Saturday
This place seems like it would be great for a getaway. Just stopped by for a round of golf, but the restaurant was packed and all the amenities looked very inviting
Below Average
The course has been overwatered and on several drives there was mud on my ball which was in the center of the fairway. On Creek Hole #1 my drive carried 240 yards and nearly plugged. This was during a week long heatwave with temperatures
In the mid to high 90’s.
The bunker were hard and crusty in spots and the putting greens have not recovered from aeration.
All in all, the maintenance protocols and the aeration timing seem questionable.
Great course but expect slow pace.
Slow slow slow… no Marshall anywhere to be found. Stacked tee times. Great course just expect close to a 6 hour round. Starter chuckled today when he said we’re on time to tee off. Greens were ok but recently punched so I’ll give them that and a thanks for the discount. Very very windy in the afternoons I think the cart fee is is overkill.
Just slow overall waiting for every shot.
Excellent Pro Shop Staff
Excellent Pro Shop staff Chris and course is great shape! Will golf there again!
Love playing at this course
Had a great time playing with my buddies at this course. When we play at temecula creek we always look forward to it. The course is great, but the tee off area needs to be worked on.
Green
Great course and layout.
My only complaint is that the practice green speed and the actual green speed never seem close.
Also you get different speeds between holes.
Noticed some were cut more than others.
Still fun layout and great staff.
