About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

greens could be rolled
I really enjoy this layout. It's a very fun short course. There are a lot of flat courses in the valley but this one has more undulations and it makes it more fun to play.
The course overall is in pretty good shape, but I will say that I was disappointed in the condition of the greens. Maybe is just that they had so many out there on this day, but there were so many pulled up sections of green it wasn't flat. Maybe there are some that still use spikes(even tho this is a senior neighborhood I can't see that). On almost every green I had to tamp down my line because the green wasn't flat. This is not good if they're asking $60+ for morning and $40 for afternoon tee times.
Beautiful day at Sunbird
The course was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Other golfers were nice and happy to let our twosome play through. Good rate and lots of fun.

Nice Shape
Course in nice shape. Looking forward to playing when it is not cart path only. Very friendly staff including the Marshall. Will be back.
Pace of play was good, course was in fine shape from over seed, playing partners were great people to play with, all around fine day
Beautifully maintained - Still Challenging
Sunbird is closed for overfeeding for much of October, but when it re-opens, it will be well worth your while to get a round or two there. The Front nine is as good as any regulation front nine in "The Valley." The back nine is shorter but tests your skills on iron play. Sunbird is an absolutely beautiful course to play.

The course was cut low in preparation for reseeding, but provided for some extra distance off the tee. Greens are in decent condition, still a little slow as they were on our last visit.
The staff is great and your Starter on Sunday was super.
The clubhouse is always a festive and welcoming place to be after a round of golf. We are treated really well.
Great round today
Course was in very good condition getting ready for overseeding. Pace was perfect. Price was right and staff was friendly and helpful.
