About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Great Course
Staff is always outstanding, just like a country club. Tee boxes and greens are great, fairways are transitioning to summer so some spotty areas, but still in good condition.
Great executive course
This is our “go to” executive course! The staff is awesome and we always have a great experience. Sometimes pace of play can be a little slow & they don’t have a liquor license but, it doesn’t deter us from returning. We LOVE this course!!
Well kept course
This course is well manicured with plenty of challenge. It is reasonably priced compared to surrounding courses.
Would play again
First time playing and would go back. Was looking for a 9 hole course that was affordable and this is it. Nestled in what seems like an older community, I read reviews first. I don’t know that I would suggest this course for brand new players to golf. I am still relatively new was concerned due to the number of houses lining many of the holes. The 9 hole course did have a mixed bag of Par 3s, 4s and even a couple of 5s. If you wanna practice your directional accuracy, this is the place to do it. There are a few bunkers (found a couple…) and some off to the side water hazards. Found one of those too, lol. Overall a good course, well taken care of greens that I’d happily go back to.

The greens were very nice first nine was slow by the time the sun came out pretty strong back nine to Greens were fast very easy to read the greens yesterday though

Great little course. Greens were in great shape. Some water and sand hazards. Enjoyed our morning there although play was a little slow.

Great little course!
I had a wonderful time on this course. The staff, members, and adjoining homeowners were all super nice! It’s a bit short, but it’s fun. Most par 4 holes are drivable in the 250 to 280 range but that’s not always the wisest thing to do. Decent amount of water and bunkers placed strategically to penalize a wayward aggressive shot. The greens rolled true and the fairways were in pretty decent shape. I was fortunate to play with some members that could share how the holes play so I got some inside knowledge and was able to play a very good round as a result. The bunkers were probably the worst part of the course as they were pretty hard and not much fluffy sand, but I’m used to that and don’t hold it against them. It’s apparent that the members care about this course as they volunteer regularly to help keep it in good playing shape. I will definitely be back!
