About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Very friendly pro shop staff, thank you fo being nice!
Fun course, but greens need work!
The course layout is fun/interesting and the staff is great! This was our first time playing the course since fall overseed and while the fairways were decent, the greens overseeding did not go well. The greens were patchy, bumpy and hard. The rating would have been higher but the greens impacted the round significantly with approach shots bouncing off the greens, putts not rolling true, etc. Hopefully they can get some seed to take and fill in and we'll be back!

Shalimar is better than this place - they have sand in the sand traps - not mud or clay - greens were fast and it rained the night before - just get turf if you are going that direction ALSO Club house manager was awful - Mike told us helpful friendly customer service information as “first timers” AFTER we asked specifically ally if there was anything else we should know about the course
Not friendly not caring not prepared but has potential just not at 50 bucks a head

The course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was fairly slow and backed up often. No beverage/snack service. Would play again!

Course conditions were great and the pace of play was good.
Residents
From the moment we arrived the guard at the gate seemed annoyed we were not residents and coming to golf. The staff in pro shop was polite and attentive. While on the course the group ahead of us was not keeping pace of play and would hit balls until they got the shot they wanted. The red resident on the course would come out and stand in their backyards looking to see if balls where headed towards their homes. Stared our group down until we were off that hole. Would not come back to this course.

Kinda of a tired old course that needs some love. If you're going to charge $50+ for a round you should be able to provide decent ball washers. Most had very dirty/muddy water and none even had a drying rag. Greens were in good shape and rolled true. I doubt we'll play here again. Lots of other courses in the area that are far better in this price range.

Twice now, we’ve booked and paid through this app and found the course closed when we’ve shown up for our tee time. It’s particularly frustrating when it is ineligible for a refund. Learn from our lesson and book direct through the shop.
