About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Nice course, friendly staff. Good pace of play
Course conditions were great and the pace of play was good.
Residents
From the moment we arrived the guard at the gate seemed annoyed we were not residents and coming to golf. The staff in pro shop was polite and attentive. While on the course the group ahead of us was not keeping pace of play and would hit balls until they got the shot they wanted. The red resident on the course would come out and stand in their backyards looking to see if balls where headed towards their homes. Stared our group down until we were off that hole. Would not come back to this course.

Kinda of a tired old course that needs some love. If you're going to charge $50+ for a round you should be able to provide decent ball washers. Most had very dirty/muddy water and none even had a drying rag. Greens were in good shape and rolled true. I doubt we'll play here again. Lots of other courses in the area that are far better in this price range.

Twice now, we’ve booked and paid through this app and found the course closed when we’ve shown up for our tee time. It’s particularly frustrating when it is ineligible for a refund. Learn from our lesson and book direct through the shop.
Good course if you're a teetotaler
Course is fine, policies are not. Ordered a beer in the restaurant at the turn, and was told we could not take it on the course with us. What? That's right, no alcohol allowed on the course. Never ran into a rule like this in 16 years of golfing.
Sunbird golf course was a pleasant surprise.
We teed off on time and had very little waiting.
Everyone there is very friendly and I really enjoyed the people out putting up Christmas decorations as we stopped to briefly visit and remark on their efforts.
The course was in good condition and the greens were rolling true.
Lots of variety and fun to be had. I recommend giving Sunbird a try!
This course has something for everyone.
This par 66 course has something for everyone. The are challenging holes over water and beside water. It has dog leg holes and short to medium par 3’s. If you are lucky enough to golf with a member…that doubles the fun of Sunbird Golf Course
