About
The course at the Sunbird Golf Resort is a desert-style course that offers three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels. This executive length golf course has a country club-type atmosphere and offers a good round of golf. The greens are medium sized with some that are multi-tiered and narrow fairways. Bunkers and trees are also present on the course, adding some challenge since they can greatly affect shots. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. In addition to the executive course at Sunbird Golf Resort, the facility also offers a putting area and chipping green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

No food no booze no nothing on GC
Always drove by this place and finally played. No booze, food allowed on the golf course. No bev cart, no course marshals no bathrooms. This place not for me.
Outstanding Course
The ladies now in charge of running this course are amazing! They are so professional, accommodating, and are making great improvements to an already great facility. I had a tee time for today for two people, reserved through my GolfNow VIP membership. Unfortunately, my playing partner had to cancel due to a family emergency. I revised my reservation through Golfnow yesterday to a single. When I showed up today I was told that Golfnow called the Pro shop this morning mistakenly canceling both tee time. Thankfully, they were great and let me play. I'll contact Golfnow Monday to ensure the course gets paid. Sunbird now has a Starter on the first tee. Jim is a very friendly gentleman who knows what he's doing and is a welcome addition. We also saw Jim driving the course to help with pace of play. Course itself is coming along nicely after overseed. Keep up the great work!!
Great Course
I like to play this great mid executive (par 66) every few weeks and it never disappoint. From the moment you enter the clubhouse until you finish, always a great experience! Even though we are getting close to overseed, course was still in very good condition tee to green. Played late morning on a Tuesday and had the course to myself, finishing in a relaxing 2 1/2 hours. I'll be back!
Short game tune-up
The course is in good condition and provides plenty of challenges with water and sand. You'll need to commit to shots inside 125yds. or you'll end up in trouble.

Hot day
Considering the extreme heat, course is in good shape. Fairways were green and well groomed and greens were in good shape.
Hot, dry and thirsty!
What kind of golf course in America does not sell and/or allow alcohol on the course??? No drink cart either so you can only get water at the club house and with no way to keep the water cool it's warm 2 holes after you leave the club house. Wake up people, this is a desert, liquids are a necessity! And then they pair up a super slow single with us when there was only 2 other groups playing within an hour. This will be a one time only visit, definitely won't return here!
Course Needs Attention
I've been playing this course for 20 years, and this is by far the worst condition I have seen it in. Not just one part of it, but tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens. Even at just $20 it is over-priced for summer heat. There are so many executives in the SE Valley in much better condition for less cost. I don't know why anyone comes here, unless it is the staff, who is always great. I won't be back to this dog track until the fall.

They charge fifty now and it has not improved - everything very run down - so sad for workers who must be depressed and also sad and ANGRY, too!
