About
The course at Springfield Golf Resort has a traditional design that has an interesting mix of desert-style holes. This executive course features average sized greens that are heavily undulating and fairways that are tight and lined with a few trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are also a few strategically placed sand bunkers throughout. The golf course plays fast, but it offers a good challenge for all skill levels. Offering three sets of tee boxes creates even more opportunities for adapting the game to different abilities and handicaps. In addition to the golf course, Springfield Golf Resort also offers a chipping area and putting green.

It’s my favorite local course
The staff is professional and the golf course is well maintained
Springfield
Plat this course quite a bit as it's a great course to work on your short irons. weather was perfect and pace was good. Course is still pretty wet coming out from overseed. Hopefully the watering will be less as time goes by. I'll be back.
Good for what it was
It’s a par 61 course and I need to pay more attention when making tee times what, exactly, the course rating and length are.

Great executive course with a challenging layout. The owners and staff are great! Conditions ate good after the reseeding.
Great little course
We played this course on our last day before we caught our flight - nice small course and was in good shape. We said this would be a great course to start our week off with to get us all warmed up!! Would go back!!

My family loves coming here. Course played quick and looks great after the overseeding. Kevin and Todd in the shop are super-friendly, and are always going the extra mile to make you feel welcome. This place feels like home every time we come out. Thanks for another perfect day!

The course is nice and In good shape..The staff is always nice and friendly when we play there!! The food at Grill 61 is very good, we always stop in and wat when we play there!! I definitely recommend the course and the grill!!
Slow day
Is Springfield’s management team interested in just revenue or are they concerned with the golfer’s experience? Tee-times were scheduled every 7 minutes this created huge backups at most holes. Having to wait more than 5 minutes numerous times to tee off, on multiple holes causes tempo and timing issues. 12 minutes is an appropriate time between groups teeing off.. Since rates are up in price at least they could push back tee-times to a reasonable level.

I'm one of the owners and the one that worked Friday. Surprised to hear your comments above and would love to hear more about your issues?
Although I do admit, things got a little backed up for a short time in the morning, everyone finished the day in 3 hours and 30 minutes or less, which is our standard pace of play, albeit on the high side, for this time of year.
Our tee-times are spaced every 8 minutes in the morning and every 9 minute in the afternoon to help accommodate the need for more single rider carts these days.

Great value for the money, not a pushover!
Having never played Springfield and not usually enjoying executive courses as much (I'm a terrible iron player) I didn't have super high hopes, but it was close to my buddies house and he had a small window to play.
What a great track....Staff was super friendly, especially for a first timer, they let us know exactly where to go, what to expect and how to enjoy the property to the fullest!
The course conditions were great, especially for this time of year. Greens were rolling smooth and luckily they weren't table top fast, so we had a chance to hold some of larger breaks!
We played in about 3 hours and 5 minutes, teeing off just after 11am. I thought this was outstanding, especially considering they seemed to be busy.
We spoke to a nice Marshall twice as he made his way around, he was super friendly and actually made good conversation, which is more than most places offer.
I had some time to kill after our round, before the HOV lane closed, so I had a quick bite at their Grill, man what a great Italian hoagie! Soft bread, lots of meat and a great dressing. It came with these "house chips", man, these things were tasty. Seasoned and warm...
Overall, I didn't play great, but had a wonderful time. The course is harder than I imagined it would be, but was still a fair test if I had a better swing that day!

Another Enjoyable Round
We have played this course several times. The course is in great shape and can take the carts off the path. Played the first nine with another couple and the back nine as a twosome. Beautiful day in the 70's and no waiting for anyone in front of us.
