Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

Enjoyable Round
Course was in great shape, pace of play was good, overall I enjoyed the round
Really good
Willow Creek is in really good shape right now. Greens are almost completely healed from a previous punching and we’re rolling good and looked great. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were ok. The one bunker I was in was fine. The rough was pretty thick and penal in the areas I landed. It’s a fun layout with a good mix of holes. Some doglegs and a few holes that force you to hit less than driver off the tee, including a par 5. I paid $70 on a Friday morning and finished in just under 4.5 hours. This is probably the best shape I’ve seen it in the three or four times I’ve played it. Highly recommended if you get a chance.
Great challenge
My first time playing here and I really enjoyed the layout. The par 3s were all short (less than 200), the par 4s made you choose other than driver, and the par 5s were easy birdie opportunities. The staff was super friendly, the golf carts and range balls were newer, the clubhouse was great, and I think it was a pleasure to play here. I finished 18 holes on a Friday afternoon with 2 other players in less than 4 1/2 hours. My only complaints is that the greens had just been punched earlier in the week, but that's my stroke of luck. Can't wait to play here again!
Love this course!
Love Willow creek. It’s great starting out with a par 5 and then finishing with one of the better finishing holes in the Upstate the 18th par 5!
course was in good shape and weather was great. my only complaint was the 4some in front of us was deathly slow and never offered to let us play thru
Great course but a ranger was really needed to check on speed of play
Great Course
Great course. Challenging but not too hard. A good and fair course to go have some fun! Every green was in good condition.
Don't miss this one!
Course is very playable and greens were in great shape. If it's not on your list to play, take my word for it. Enjoyable round and a very playable course for all handicaps.
Very nice course in great shape, some bunkers inconsistent with amount of sand but overall really enjoyed
Love this Place
well taken care of, great staff, fun and challenging course
Great condition
$70 plus something is on the higher and in the area, but we were not
disappointed with quality they provided at all.
Multiple stuff watching the pace of the players which were sometimes annoying and they seemed not to be very functioning as far as keeping the players on a pace they want, but it was all right. Enjoyed playing there very much.
