Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

Great course
Course was in great condition. Friend arrived a little late and starter was very accommodating despite being reallt busy. Would highly recommend the course
Great course, spectacular layout
I have played out at Willow Creek several times and always enjoy it. Course is currently in great shape. Greens are super fast and firm currently making it very challenging but still fair.
Greens were great. Fairways need the weather to change. Practice tees are a mess-again, need weather to change.
Slow group in front of us had us waiting on every tee. Sometimes the group behind was waiting with us.

Course wasn't bad. Just too much rain from the previous days.

Grouchiest Staff in the Upstate
If you like feeling like your stepdad is mad at you, you'll love this place. The course itself is a great spot, been coming here for years, but the consistent problem for me is the staff. They act as if you're a burden to them and are downright unfriendly.
Course was soggy from recent rain.
Cart path only due to recent heavy rain.
Had to hit tee shot off mat for hole 16.
Course was great. Frost delayed my tee time, but starter thankfully bumped me in front of a group of 24 golfers. Green were great, nice layout, generally not a fan of courses that weave through housing developments but this one was pretty nice. I will definitely play here again.
Dry conditions over last month have greens VERY hard.
First time playing here in 4 years. The area has had very little rain over the last month and the greens were hard. High lofted shot’s hitting on the greens would bounce at least 4 feet high and would not hold. Anything above the hole was impossible to stop close to the hole. The starter and pro shop was very friendly. Got paired with a couple of Gentleman that were very nice. My recommendation is to let it rain and soften the greens. Greens and fairways are in good shape but just dry. They can’t control the weather just know your Drives are rolling farther and shots kept rolling a good ways downhill.. allow for that off the first hole you play.
Great winter condition
Greens were vert fast, course was free from leaves in the fairways, weather was superb. A very enjoyable round.
