Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

Aerified greens
I truly enjoy playing this course. Great variety of holes, some challenging some pretty simple. I read on GolfNow that the greens had been awrified two weeks ago and thought they would have been in better shape. Little to no chance of making anything outside of 5 feet. I will go back later this season after the greens have healed.
Good shape considering
Played this course for the first time on 3/5/14. The greens had recently been aerated so I can't comment on their overall quality. The course itself was in good shape. The clubhouse facilities are outstanding. I can't wait to play the course once the greens and fairways grow out.
outstanding
Enjoyed myself will return to play enjoyed the hole location
Awesome course where no two holes are the same.
Beautiful course that is always in great shape no matter how many rounds get played. The bent greens provide a value you can't find in any course in the area at an affordable price.
Beautiful Course!!
This is a well maintained course with multiple tee boxes to add challenge to any golfer. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, makes it easy to relax and play golf while taking in the sites. This is country club golf for sure!
Really nice course.
This was my second time playing at Willow Creek. I enjoyed playing here. Course is in nice shape. Definitely recommend it.
The course is user friendly.
The tees and fairways are in great condition. Several greens have bare spots where the grass has died back. A couple of wet spots in fairways and around several greens but considering to rains we have had not real bad.
Greens need work
Very nice, varied layout with a variety of hazards to navigate. Fairways and bunkers well maintained but significant amount of brown spots and unfixed divots across most of the greens. This was the only big disappointment. Water every 3 or so holes for hydration. I still plan on playing here again.
Well maintained
Course is in excellent condition. Fun to play with many opportunities to score well.
this course is in excellent shape!!!!
great course, nice layout, excellent greens very true to the read.
Course was in great shape, however, bunkers could have used more sand
Irealized that we have had a great deal of rain, but, maintenance should have raked the bunkers making the sand more payable.
Great course for great price
The course was fantastic. We really enjoyed the layout and the condition was perfect.
nice track
no cart girl, pace of play tooooo slow.
no ranger on course
otherwise it was great
course was in good shape and a nice track
Fun track, well maintained, very good value for $43.
A very playable track. I joined two other golfers who knew the course well, they were very helpful with attack lines from the tee box. Thanks Jim and David!
Great course...great value
The course is in excellent condition. The greens were quick but not too fast and were in excellent condition. The staff was great...I came in as a single and was matched up with another single and we were on our way well ahead of our scheduled tee times. I've played a number of courses in the area and Willow Creek is near the top of the list for conditioning and value.
Not an especially challenging course. Good for the infrequent golfer. Course in OK condition.
Not an especially challenging course. A few creek hazards and only one tee shot over water to a par 3. Nice contours, that are relatively friendly to a wayward shot. Not much long rough or difficult lies. Pretty course and some nice houses to look at. Food and beverages a little expensive.
Fun course
Not too difficult. Willow Creek is fun to play. It was in decent shape. Greens rolled well, hard, but a little bumpy due to aeration a few weeks earlier.
