Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

This course is fun to play.
Willow creek sold this tee time during a tournament. Tee time was 2 24 pm we started play at 3 30 and only finished eleven holes. The last two in the dark. Played there one other time through Golf now with no problems.
nice conditioned course
this is a very nice course that plays a little to easy from tee to green. there are a couple of holes that can play tough, conditioning and greens are first class.must play tips too even think of being challenged
Awesome greens
fun course with some tough holes and some easy holes. very little water that actually comes into play. a good bit of OB to deal with but overall a good course with some nice smooth greens. play can be slow at times if not in a foursome
Great Greens, especially for the time of year.
I have played here numerous times and it is always kept in great shape. Greens are very nice and true. Staff is excellent and they make a great burger. Play is sometimes on the slow side during the hot months but they are getting better at patrolling the situation
Very fun course!
This course is in real nice shape and was extremely enjoyable. The greens were small and very firm, which caused our group some problems. However, the course has a nice design and allows you to score well if you're on your game!
Fast green
Nice fast greens. Bunkers well cared for. Over great condition Only problem is pace of play. Took 5.5 hrs to play.
Great shorter par 4's for seniors.
Course is well maintained and the staff is always friendly. Greens are in great shape. Ruff is always cut medium to short so play moves well. Like the course a lot.
Nice condition.... great greens (on the fast side)
This course is always in very good condition. Today, the greens were outstanding. They're quick, but predictable. We played the white tees (@5800) which is probably around 200 yds less than what I'd normally play. There were no long carries to deal with but we still managed to find enough places off the fairway to lose a few balls, Nice Chili dogs too! and $2 drafts at the end of the round. Practice facility (range/putting green and chipping area) gets you ready for your round.
Enjoyable course typically in great shape
Play here often, and only complaint is that can play very slow at times
Great Course
Course was in great condition and is well maintained. Greens were in great condition. Course is challenging, but not too tough and fun to play. The pace of play was slow and I could not play the last 3 holes, but overall, a great course and fun to play.
Great Course
This is my favorite course. It is challenging but not difficult. Greens are fast. Great views
Very nice condition, and layout. Great value
Very nice course, play could have been faster but the pace was acceptable considering the weather was great; and the course gets a lot of play.
Top 5 Course in Upstate, SC
Willow Creek is a bit pricey compared to other courses in the Upstate, SC area but is always a well maintained course with very nice, clean facilities. I enjoy playing here every time. At least you can see where the additional money you pay is being spent. I would play more often if it was a bit cheaper!
