Willow Creek Golf Course
About
Situated between Greenville and Spartanburg, Willow Creek Golf Course is a favorite course amongst many area players. The course has a classic layout that starts out gently with a player-friendly front nine but then becomes much more challenging on the back nine. The layout is a seemingly mild 6,890 yards from the back tees but it can feel longer because of all the elevation changes you'll encounter. It's a golf course that will appeal to beginners but advanced players will also enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities that can be found throughout. Water hazards come into play on eight holes and there is a slew of strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The par-5 fifth hole is Willow Creek Golf Course's signature. This 516-yard hole tumbles across rolling hills with a stream that cuts right through the fairway.

Testing out the new irons
I booked a tee time for my son and I on short notice. I wasn't too optimistic on how it would go since it was raining and my first time playing with a new set of irons. Turned out to be a good day with the course in great shape considering all the rain the night before. The staff was friendly and the pace of play was great for a Sunday afternoon (3 hrs 45 mins).
One of the best
We liked the straight forward design. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good condition.
No complaints.
Short course
I like this golf course a lot it's short and you can shot a low round here; however, we had two five-somes in front of us on a Saturday. Really slowed down play.
Lush
Only gripe was cart path only because of the rain the previous day. Course wasn't wet at all. Fairways and tee boxes were lush. Greens were in relatively good condition. For the hot deal price it was well worth it.
Excellent Course
I have played here several times and I'm never disappointed. The course conditions are superb, although the greens are slower than most but they're in flawless shape. You will not be disappointed especially for the deals golf now has for this course!
Awesome Course!
This was the first time I have golfed at Willow Creek, and I will definitely go back there! It was an outstanding experience overall. I got a very good price online, and it was well worth my money. The course was in very good condition. I already told my golf buddies that we need to schedule a round there soon! The only negative comment I will make is that it was a long round! Now, this is understandable seeing that it was a Friday and how nice the course is. There was just a lot of people there, and I guess I am just used to faster rounds. That however will not keep me from returning there very soon! See ya again soon! Thank you!
Willow Creek
I found this to be the premier course that I have played in this market. The fairways were great the greens receptive and the degree of difficulty fair but testing. The staff was very friendly and eager to make us welcome. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to have a great day on the golf course.
Willow Creek
Conditions matched the look off the course. Green and plush fairways manicured the way a course should be. Greens were soft and putted true and fast.
great value
The course was in superb shape--fairways and greens. The rough was challenging, but not too rough.
Highly recommend this as a top notch daily fee course.
Great open course
This was my first time playing this course as well as playing this year. Arrived early so I could hit a bucket of balls on the driving range. People were very friendly. Facilities were great. Did not have anything to eat, thus I can't comment on the food. The course is very long, so I do not recommend walking. The course has several water stations where players can keep hydrated in the extreme heat of SC. Most holes are wide open. Very difficult to loose a ball unless one really miss hits it. Did not see any rangers on the course. Did not have to wait because of slow play. Highly recommend playing this course. Will definitely play it again. Did not see any lakes or water hazard. There was a creek of little significance.
blind shots leading to creeks
The course has several blind shots with creeks not seen from the tee. If playing for the first time important to play with someone who knows the course. The greens overall condition was good. the greens were scarred in some places by players not repairing ball marks. The driving range did not have any yardage indicators. it was interesting I would play again.
willow Creek first time
Great condition course with fair but tough rough. Greens were in perfect condition.
Well Maintained
Fits all skill levels. Beautiful course, easy to navigate, and nice surroundings.
Course has great facilities! Nice great driving range!
Love this course! Wish I was closer...but well worth the drive! A beautiful layout...doesn't have that one hole that has you thinking it doesn't belong!
Fun Course
Greens and fairways are in good shape. Had a great time playing. Pace of play was right on track. Was able to enjoy the round with feeling pressured by other groups. Facilities are nice and the staff was pleasant to deal with. One of best times I've had in a while.
Very playable!
One the best courses in the Upstate area. Definitely a challenge but more playable than some of the 'tricked up' courses in the area. Not too many blind shots, greens in great condition and the whole course is just a gem. Could play this place every weekend no question!!
Rained on
I got rained on on hole 4 but other than that it was a great course
Fun Course
Very enjoyable experience. I have played this course many times and always find it a great place to play. Good condition for greens and fairways. A relatively short course from the white tees. Not a lot of out-of-bounds. I will play here again.
Good course
Good fairways, excellent challenging greens. A bit expensive under normal rates.
