Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
Course Needs Work
The staff at golf shop and restaurant are excellent. The course is currently struggling with transition to summer. Lots of dead spots on fairways and especially greens.
Not worth $75
Prior to paying I asked the clubhouse attendant about the course conditions. He mentioned they are in a transition phase and that we "might" see a few dry areas where they are letting the rye grass die off. I'm totally fine with that but to charge $75 was outrageous for the condition the course was in. It was more than just a few dry patches...see pictures. I would have been willing to pay $40-ish, $75 was way too much. I showed the attendant the pictures and asked if he would pay $75 to play the course. his answer was no he would not.
Course is in horrible shape
Greens and fairways are diseased. I will not play here again. Staff is very friendly but the course conditions are not worth what they are charging
NOT YOUR TYPICAL DESERT COURSE
Great sub-division, security entrance into the course. Fabulous course, Fabulous staff.....Take your own water, there are NO water stations on the course.
You will enjoy the layout!!
Fun Saturday Out
Course was a bit dry but was a great round. Ranger helped to keep speed of play up. Great restaurant and drink cart came more often than most courses. Great course to play.
Poor shape
Well the clubhouse was great staff was good layout is decent unfortunately the course is in terrible shape , greens fairways all burnt out , temp green on 18 , not worth the money at all , I would avoid here till conditions improve a lot
Compa Challenge 2022
I thought course layout and staff were great unfortunately there was alot of dead grass on greens. The grass around the greens was pretty bad as well putted instead of chipped. With a little TLC it would be a real gem. Hopefully they can get it back in shape.
Value wise I didn't feel it warranted the price for the condition. Not crazy unreasonable but if your gonna charge that rate you should have better conditions. All in all I would definitely go back and play it if given the chance.
Great course
Fairways had some repair going on but overall it was in good condition.
SUMMER FAIRWAYS Winter greens.
Little dry on the fairways. Greens held until the afternoon.
