Power Ranch Golf Club
About
With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

How come I always have to hit my ball here? Photo submitted by cofgrindr8 on 12/10/2013
Power Ranch
I haven’t played here in several months. I love the course but it was in poor condition today. They’re getting ready to work on the greens next week but the tee boxes and approaches are also in poor condition. I will look forward to hitting this course this fall. It should be in much better shape then.
Greens are not good.
The Greens were very very bad. A ton of bare spots and sandy. Would have been nice to be told of this situation before start of play.
Pathetic Round
disgusting course condition and unenjoyable round overall. Golf Now and course failed to advice that the course was proactically completely burned off for aerating? I putted on sand all day on the bumpy and comletely pathetic greens. Fairways were no better. No one advised me prior to this and I would have never wasted my time and money. No beverage cart until back 9 due to callout. I went into the golf shop after round to voice my displeasure and the younger kid woreking only said "it is on there now" when I stated that there was no alert on golf now when I booked. The older heavier set guy just stared at me as if I was bothering them. I will be hard pressed to consider playing this course ever again. I understand the need to convert turf but do the right thing and let customers know rather than remaining silent to keep the cash flowing. I won't be back.
Course Needs Much Work!
The course has seen much better days. It needs a lot of work, and until then lower green fees. I simply hope course management is reading the reviews.
Horrible condition
I've been playing this course for years. This is by far the worst I've ever seen it. Almost no grass in the fairways. Greens had no grass, just sand. It's a great course and the staff are nice, but I won't be back for a few months. I don't see how they could fix the problems before the end of Summer.
Love this coarse!
Love the layout of this coarse, always a fun round!
What happened?
This course was in extremely poor condition. Fairways are patchy and very dry!! Where is some green grass to hit from??
Course Needs Work
The staff at golf shop and restaurant are excellent. The course is currently struggling with transition to summer. Lots of dead spots on fairways and especially greens.
Not worth $75
Prior to paying I asked the clubhouse attendant about the course conditions. He mentioned they are in a transition phase and that we "might" see a few dry areas where they are letting the rye grass die off. I'm totally fine with that but to charge $75 was outrageous for the condition the course was in. It was more than just a few dry patches...see pictures. I would have been willing to pay $40-ish, $75 was way too much. I showed the attendant the pictures and asked if he would pay $75 to play the course. his answer was no he would not.
Course is in horrible shape
Greens and fairways are diseased. I will not play here again. Staff is very friendly but the course conditions are not worth what they are charging
