By the 3rd hole, the group infront of us was 2 holes behind the next group. We called the Pro Shop to send a Marshall to ask them to play faster. They refused to send anybody. By the end of the round, the group in front of us were at least 4 holes behind. We would wait on the same tee as the group in front and they would not let us play through. The groups behind were getting upset too. It was 100 degrees and it made it worse when you have to wait on every shot. We later assumed that the slow group were probably members and the Staff did not want to upset them.

The course layout was fun. The conditions were good except for some sections of the green were dried out.

We had to wait on almost every hole. Some par 3 had a back up of two groups. Greens were burnt but that was to be expected at this time of the year.

I’ve played this course a number of times and I’ve often felt it didn’t quite reach its potential due to the conditions. This time though I was almost shocked at the condition of the greens. All of them were covered in dead spots and the ball would bounce around like you were playing “plinko”. As a foursome we all agreed we would play “winter rules”, a Midwest term for improving your lie by moving your ball to a patch of grass on the fairway. There were a TON of dead spots in the fairways and it was a challenge to get the club on the ball. Not sure it’s just a water issue or if the grounds keepers burned up the turf with an over application of chemicals. Would wait a while for the course to recover before booking another tee time here.

It was an amazing experience on and off the course between the staff and the greens!!! You definitely get your money’s worth with this course!!!!

I’ve played this course before and have definitely seen it in much better shape. Lots of burned up bare spots on the fairways and bare spots on the greens. This is one of my favorite courses and was very disappointed in the conditions.

I was at the range with my 2 boys (7 and 9 yrs old) and trying my best to teach them a little about golf. The Starter (Scott) came over and brought them some golf balls (Callaway soccer balls) and the kids were so happy about it. He came over again and said once we were done hitting he’d let us go play the 18th hole. He put our bags in a cart and followed us out to the 18th tee box and let us go. I’ve gone to the range only a couple times with my boys and to the putting green 4-5 times, but this is the very first hole of golf they have ever played. They have talked about it every day since. Little thing in some eyes, but a giant one in the eyes of my boys. *Also have played this course twice in the last 3 weeks and it’s in great shape and a good value. Pro Shop guys are also good people. Recommend to everyone. The Pro here is showing that they are doing a great job. Thank you.

Played with two singles to make our foursome. Tee time was spot on. Course in great condition including the traps with no rakes. Greens were tough and fast but immaculate. Played round in four hours with a foursome. Cart person was efficient and available would rate this experience as a solid 4.5. Restaurant had just reopened and food and service was excellent but they were following protocols for social distancing. Nice to be able to have an appetizer and a beer after a round of golf. Great day!

An excellent baseline for judging one's golf skills, fair but tough. Beautiful settings, we saw a mother quail chasing a roadrunner away from her nest!

They don't allow 5-somes, the beverage cart comes around at least 3 times, and there never seems to be any confusion regarding reservations or pricing, which is reasonable..

Overall, highest marks

Staff was friendly and informative. Pace of play was monitored and good. Greens were firm and fast. The typical dry spots here and there on the course. For this time of year. This course is in great shape. Bunkers actually had sand in them. I was in 2 of them. Beverage cart was seen once per 9. Great experience I would recommend and I will for surely be a repeat customer.

Friend in town from Illinois so I told him we should play here while in town. Booked a 6:30 tee time to play while it was cooler. Friendly staff and enjoyed playing. The course was in great shape and the greens were excellent just maybe a little hard.

First of all, the area surrounding the course is beautiful. A friend and I played this course and it was outstanding, starting with the Staff, who was as professional as you can get. The course was in great condition as well as the layout . I recommend this course, also I will return.

Course was in good shape. Player with 2 other gents. Had a great round.
