With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

I like the course

My biggest issue was with the ranger who pulled up while my buddy and I were teeing off in a par 3. He was talking to the other 2 in our group…while we were teeing off. He should know better! I probably should have told him to stop…but should I have to?

On my list for every trip.

Power Ranch is not overwhelming from a layout perspective for courses in this area but all of the holes are quality golf holes.

In my opinion in having played it twice over the past three years, two things make it worth the go:

A great staff from the front access gate, bag drop, pro shop, and marshals.

They invest in turf care and obviously have a talented Superintendent….so a ‘shout out’ to someone (behind the scenes) who rarely gets credit.

If you’re looking for a Troon North experience, then not your ‘cup of tea’….but for simply a great day of golf …. then I suggest you give it a go.

Power ranch

Unfortunately I booked through tee off and no mention of cart path only. Didn't appreciate that. Other than them not letting me know that course was great.

Golf at Power Ranch

So a supposed frost delay took us to an hour later tee time. That meant we couldn’t complete our afternoon round before sunset. No refund of any sort, or 9 hole fee, no free bucket of balls, nothing. Awful customer service. Course was decent and in fairly good shape.

Marshall was Rude

It’s sad that one person could ruin your day. This person was the Marshall his name was Kevin on entering the property The golf cart attendant was welcoming and pleasant. The pro shop was greeted with a smile and they were definitely welcoming as well. Got up with three other people nice gentlemen met Riley the cart attendant. She was fantastic. Got on the back nine on 11. We were made aware that we were behind pace, which made each of us in our group, her head and said we’ll pick up our pace. We looked in front of us and we noticed a group on the Greene while we’re on the Teebox. We look behind us and we didn’t see anybody so We proceeded on . two halls later, we see the Marshall Kevin on our pat three hole standing there, waiting for us to tee off, Which was a little bit rude. Anyways, we all teed off and one didn’t make it on the green. The other two were pin high just off the green and one was on the green once again he started chastising us for pace play time. We were all irritated and wondering what’s going on at this time, I checked my Arccos app and it said we were at, three hours 28 minutes It seems to me that we were on pace so we looked around and now we all started question him what was going on because we don’t see anybody behind us and we could see the group in front of us Tina off. Well, we finish round at four hours 22 minutes and we got to the cart house went to return the cart and the card attendant was really gracious really nice. He told us that they were getting ready to oversee and the last teatime was 11 o’clock. We mentioned the to him and he said yeah he’s kind of a stern per se but maybe it was because they were trying to get everybody off the course the three people i in my group said they will never golf there again. Well that’s a little different for me. I live not too far from there and my VP is a member there. I am a member at Golf Course, which is a trilogy course as well. I was really surprised the rudeness of the Marshall I never write these, but I thought I’d do would today

Great course

Overall, great place to play. The conditions were great. Groundkeepers need a raise. One of the best conditioned course in Phoenix. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in great shape, and that is hard to do with the summers in Phoenix.
