With its neighbors being the Santan Range and Superstition Mountain, it is no wonder Power Ranch Golf Club (formerly known as Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch) is known for its spectacular views. Although this championship golf course is near a residential area, the course architect, Dick Bailey, insists the homes were routed to accommodate the golf course and not vice versa. The holes amble through the cleansed desert of the Queen Creek wash, which features plenty of interesting elevation changes. Strategically placed mounding and bunkers are situated throughout the golf course. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. Four sets of tee boxes are available to test experienced golfers and allow beginners to enjoy Power Ranch Golf Club as well.

Power Ranch
Course was in great condition. Grass from tee to green was excellent. They didn’t punch the greens this year since they just redid them last summer. So the greens had nice grass and rolled true, but they were hard and didn’t hold shots very well. That will change as the greens mature. Nice course design and a fun course to play. Got a good rate with a hot deal.

Great
First time playing since they renovated the course. Greens ran fast and true. The few bunkers I was in the sand was perfect.
Butchered
So I am a regular at PR, 1 to 2 times a week. We all understand the greens being "young" and you have to play more of bump and run and today they had been sanded and much slower. I don't remember the fairways every being in such bad shape and there are more bald spots than grass in the fairways. I know the standard line is the course is in transition but I don't remember it being this bad. I am a card holder so 25 bucks is not out of line for 9 holes. They said they were going to plug the fairways this past Wednesday but it looks like they scraped them again. Love the course but not current conditions.
