Desert Mirage Golf Course
About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

9 hole
Great 9 hole course for playing 9 holes with option to play again for 18...at a great price that includes small bucket of range balls
Good practice course
It will definitely help you improve your short game, and allows you to still hit driver on a few holes
Great shape
The course is in great shape and they have even worked on the cart paths!
Rauls golf day
It was very warm out. Sprinkler was turned on. Making it a little bit slower.
Charged me for my 9 yr old nephew to ride along
I booked a tee time for one but when I showed up with my 9yr old nephew to spend some time together they charged me for a second golfer. I told them he was just along for the ride but I guess that didn’t matter to them. I live down the street from here and I really did like playing here because it’s quick but I will not be back after the blatant over charging.
Unwelcoming to Jr golfers or kids wanting to watch
This place is unwelcoming to jr golfers or kids trying to just watch. No matter the age, they will charge you $15 per “spectator” fee when the round to play costs $10-12 on golf now. They say they are scared of being sued and have been sued before for balls hitting players. They are just sticking it to you. It makes no sense when every other 9 hole course in the valley welcomes jr golfers and kids trying to watch and learn the game. We are all trying to pass this dying game down to the next generation so we can keep the love of the game going. If you are willing to pay that fee, just know the course is below average and there are plenty of better choices. Hope this helps to shut this place down and/or get a new owner who cares about golfers.
Fun Course
the staff was very friendly, Course was in okay shape.fun to play, great value for the $
Old man in cart following me , why?
All the players overlapping not enough time in between groups and their was an old man in a cart following my husband and I. There were other people why did he follow us ? I definitely don’t recommend this place.
Golf with my Grandson
Overall I had a great time with my Grandson. I hadn’t golfed here in 10 years ( with his dad ). It was the first time for him. 110 degrees here in Phoenix and the perfect amount of holes. My only negative complaint would be that it was really muddy around the greens ( not all holes ) . You know off the greens you aren’t supposed to clean your balls ( marked on Greens only ) . Yes I wasn’t playing for money but always play by the rules. My grandson had a blast so we would definitely play here again. Maybe better conditions next time. Robert B
Fun 9 hole course
Desert Mirage is a nice little layout with 4 short par 4s and 5 par 3s. Great for iron practice, but also a chance to hit a couple of woods. Course is in good shape, tee to green grass is good. Greens are in great shape for summer and roll nicely. Good finishing hole with a lake along the whole left side of hole.
