About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Getting Better
They put some water on the course which is helping green it up of course. Still some dirt but getting better. Decent short course for the $$.
Best Short Course in Phoenix
Favorite place to play! Really nice 9 Hole course to work on your short game, or to play with people who don't play often or who are wanting to start. Can't express enough how fantastic the staff is here!

The Course isn’t what the pictures show
This is the worse course I’ve ever been on. The course is in terrible condition and looks very unkept. I should've known when I hit ball at the driving range prior to playing and the balls felt dead. There were weeds in the sand traps and the cart path was made of rocks and dirt. There were tons of puddles on the cart paths making for interesting maneuvers trying to avoid them.

We absolutely enjoy golfing here. The staff is awesome and there is never any kind of hold up.

Nice course, but
We play this course often and always enjoy it BUT, the cart paths really need some attention. Large pot holes make them very rough.
